You're probably right, but I think it's better to cut them loose after a couple seasons. And The Sopranos started getting weird toward the later seasons. I felt the last season was a bit forced with the war with NY and Leotardo.

I'm glad Sopranos ended when it did and I'm glad they're not dragging out Breaking Bad. It always shows the class of the production when they end something when it appropriate instead of cashing in

Why would anyone even compare these two shows? They are completely different.

AMC show, or HBO quality. Obviously going with The Sopranos. Swearing, graphic violence, nudity, better characters. The end.

Breaking Bad is a really good show, and since the its currently on I know people are loving it, but in my opinion Sopranos is just on a whole other level. The writing is absolutely superb.

There's a lot of redundant stuff mixed up with the brilliance though. Vito and the gay volunteer-fireman was cringeworthy :monkey1

That was the only thing i really found odd and I also didn’t. Things like that are more common than we know, but the way it was handled was a little weird.

Tough call as these are two of my top five favorite shows of all time. Breaking Bad is brilliant, but I still contend The Sopranos is the greatest hour long drama of all time and as great as Cranston is as WW, he still can't top Gandolfini's performance as Tony Soprano. That's the best role for any actor in television history as far as I'm concerned.

Tony would have never put up with Jesse ,.... hmmm , on 2 nd thought he did put up with Christopher for quite some time.

Yeah, but when the time came and the writing was on the wall he took Christopher out himself. It will be interesting to see if Walt can do that with Jesse.

it was more like the oppurtunity presented itself and Tony jumped on it. Im not sure Walt would jump on the same oppurtunity it it presented itself.Tony grew up in that world where as Walt is still feeling his way around.

Good point. One thing is for sure, we're going to find out how far WW is willing to go in the next 4 episodes. ;)

After rewatching the series, I have to admit that BB's episodes don't hold up the way that Sopranos does. BB still has a lot of great moments but it's really about getting from A to B in that specific episode while Sopranos is more about just watching the characters.

That's a very good point. The acting in Sopranos across the board was awesome, even without a good story they were captivating to watch.

This guy does SPOT ON impressions of most of the cast :lol

His thing was to kinda continue the show after seasons 6. His Tony is scary good, I love his Syl and Christopher too.
