There used to be a nasty nursing home here that we would deliver meds to every day. One time I was in there and an old guy walked by the nurse's desk and said he couldn't find his teeth. She opened a drawer that was full of sets of teeth and gave him a pair to use "until they found his teeth". They didn't really fit his mouth but he shuffled off down the hall with a mouth full of someone else's teeth.
This was pretty much the moment I decided I'd never allow myself to be put in a home when I'm older.

Oh man, that's just about the saddest thing I've heard. That old guy probably fought for his country, busted his ass to raise his kids and now that.

Wow, that is awful. Before my grandpa died in January, he was in a home as well, and got decent treatment though I think they paid extra for it. Poor man deserved better still, however.
