Hope you are not disappointed. She is beautiful. my one and only piece I have no connection to... simply own her because she looks so amazing.

Finally managed to set her up. Beautiful piece indeed, pretty much flawless. Assembly was a true pain tho, I hope that with the prices we're paying on the newer PFs they're also easier to assemble, it's going to be nerve shattering packing her back again when I'll move.

So now, the pics. Phone pics, I'm no pro and I had Tychus boxed up waiting to make space for it, I forgot how massive is the base. The scale difference is quite noticeable but they display good together. Mind thad displaying them together won't be easy, Tychus takes up a lot of space in width and depth, Kerrigan takes up a lot in height, plus Tychus' rifle would end up touching Kerrigan's wings if Kerrigan is placed on his right, so you're pretty much forced to put her on the left.

so many people bought this thing, I wonder why. I would feel weird having a half naked alien woman on display in my room. oh well, different strokes for different folks and different levels of nerdism.

This is actually quite tame compared to a lot of stuff out there. Something tells me you haven't seen many Japanese statues...

it's a main character of a famous game with decades of history and popularity with an extreme - literally universe-wide - badassness and very sad story.
(though new starcraft just turned everything into beverly hills 90210)

Hilarious, at least those half naked male orcs don't make you feel weird...or do they?

But then again, that goes for all the overly sexualised female characters in video games. I guess some guys secretly want to impregnate Kerrigan or have some weird fetish.

Have you even played all of the StarCraft's to know the story?

Not the point, I just don't feel the need to display an intentionally sexualised statue of Kerrigan for all to see. Kerrigan is supposed to be a bad-ass, the pose in the statue makes her look like she's on her first date with a zergling?

I see I hit a nerve with your personal sexual life. I definitely didn't mean that. My apologies and my sincere condolences. I hope things improve for you.

Anyway, I guess there are different levels of fetishes and/or nerdism (i.e. this would be tame compared to the 1/3 Prime 1 Harley Quinn statue that some guys are so excited (aroused?) about. I shudder to think what their wives/girlfriends/younger children think). Then again, females portrayed in video games have a long history of being intentionally sexualised in nature to bump up sales for their target market of randy, sex starved teens (and adults it seems).

White knight alert.

Kerrigan is one of the most badass female characters in any of Blizzards games, and the iteration of her we have in statute form is her infested form, she's not even human anymore. She's no more sexualized than any male or female super hero wearing a 100% coverage bodysuit. If when a female character is portrayed displaying normal secondary sexual characteristics like wide hips, narrow waist, and breasts, which are what anatomically differentiate a female from a male of the human species from a visual perspective, automatically makes the depiction "intentionally sexualized", then the only protrayal of any human character that isn't "intentionally sexualized" would be one that is 100% androgynous. In which case, you should have just as much of a stick up your ass about every single male character that Marvel has ever produced due to their increased muscle mass, rippling abs and pectoral muscles and more extreme shoulder to waist ratios, cause hey, those are male secondary sexual characteristics, and therefor the artist is "intentionally sexualizing" spiderman etc.

Got my answer anyway.

Since you dont understand the origins, you just think the immediate dirty thought.

Plus....yea...so sexy with her exoskeleton fussed to her body. A blend of husky carpace and probably nasty mushy zergy areas. Her crazy insect looking dreads. So hot. Those giant sets of crazy wing bones. Yea....always dream about banging a space alien queen for an insect race.

:slap

Sounds to me like you think she is hot and mad you missed out. :lol

And here is from the good ole wikipedia
Queen of Blades[edit]
Kerrigan's infestation by the Zerg signaled a major overhaul for her appearance. Despite maintaining her stature, build, and facial features, she is described in Queen of Blades as having mottled green skin, covered in a glossy protective carapace. Kerrigan's eyes are bright yellow as opposed to her natural green, and her hair has transformed into stalks, described as being segmented like an insect's legs.[17] Kerrigan's fingers are stated to now contain extendible claws.[18] A pair of skeletal wings has also grown from her back, consisting of elongated segmented spikes that reach down to the level of her knees.[19] Kerrigan is seen using these wings as a melee weapon, tearing opponents apart.[20]

Sounds banging. :naughty

firstly, I joined this forum, and a couple other statue collection forums just under a month ago in order to participate in discussion about a hobby I've been enjoying for about 10 years. I only recently became a collector of sideshow pieces however. So, no, despite your egocentric assumption, I did not create my account just to reply to you.

Secondly, as to my post being irrelevant to the discussion, the only way my discussion of your previous post is irrelevant to the larger discussion is if your original post itself is irrelevant to the discussion. So unless you're saying your points regarding the sexualization of Kerrigan are irrelevant, then my points disputing that opinion are also relevant.

I will agree that the design of kerrigans infested form does accentuate her secondary feminine characteristics, particularly her alien breast like things, and her butt. However, to suggest that the skin tight suits present in the vast majority of male and female super heroes don't display or accentuate their inherent masculine or feminine traits is ludicrous. The assertion that increased musculature and form changes that are archetypical of a human male who is physically fit and has undergone puberty don't exist or are somehow "common across males and females" is equivalently laughable and demonstrates willful ignorance of human anatomy and sexual dimorphism.

people play games to play games. they appreciate the characters when there are some.
some people think only about jerking off, which seems to be your case. you should see a doctor. or a live naked female as one of members suggested earlier.

That was a terrible, terrible retort. It's akin to what kids say with "I know you are but what am I?".

You talk about sexualizing Kerrigan and yet it's pretty much across the board. Most female statues are sexualized in some sense whether it's proportions or pose. But the same can be done for males as well. With ripped muscles, tight suits, big packages. It goes both ways.

Also, if you'd ever actually HAD a member of the opposite sex in your place, you'd know that it really doesn't bother them. In fact some find Kerrigan and even other pieces fascinating to look at. Don't worry though, it'll happen for you one day.

for at least like the 5th time....it is NOT because we have a fetish and are attracted to alien titties. Just like those that got Grom arent in it muscle porn. Or those that got Arthas into bondage. How did you react to Daiblo? That has demon titties. :O

We bought it for the game, the story, etc. You seem to be the one that keeps going back to being turned on.

just get the **** out...
waste of time...going in circles...

I bought Skeletor bust, I must like bony dudes.
I bought Gouken Pilgrim, must like Asians.
I bought ED and Cain, I have a tech fetish and want to bang robots because I cant get them in real life....
Bruce Lee without his shirt on, I must like ripped tiny Asians.

Nevermind the fact I watch HeMan as a kid.
Played that Gouken costume in SF.
Or that I put in over a decade of Starcraft and would buy nearly any pieces from it. Wether it gives me a boner or not...

Sounds like you have a problem with "sexy" images. How do you watch tv or movies these days? Filled with sexual innuendos, when you can just find a real life partner to see/hear all of those things. You must have watched that "x, y, z" only because it makes you horny?

You like MMA or football? You must get your rocks off watched men run into each other and roll around...

Play nice, Freaks.
