You're correct, of course. But Sideshow is expecting us to buy Hot Toys' upcoming TIE Fighter.

Due to logistics the TIE will be 1/12 scale, so you just wouldn't be able to fit the legs in.

Sideshow was thinking ahead in offering us this legless Pilot at a heavily reduced $199.99. That's just like Sideshow: always putting the customer first with top quality products.

At least they appear to be separate pieces. I couldn't really tell because the guy couldn't stop messing with the figure for half a second, but it looks to be the case.
