You could still get two to flank Vader for a "Several ships have broken off from the main group, come with me" display but at $240 forget it.

Yeah, too bad. I would have gotten this figure if it was ~$160.
I'm pretty shocked that with HT now making figures from not only the SW saga but even the same specific movie that SSC would choose now of all times to price themselves out of the market. When they were top dogs or the only company in town sure, but now? Crazy. HT it is then I guess.

Surely he can't be that expensive. If he's dearer than the medicom one Ryan's still out there he's going to struggle ? I have a marmit and won't be replacing it

You can get Medicom pilots for $125 shipped plus the points with the HA11OW33N code. Sounding like a better option than the possible $200+ SS version. Is it really undersized?

It's Medicom. So yeah, it has to be.
It might be possible to do a body swap to a <$20 narrow or slim, YMMV.
Pre-cancel is the way to go.

I'm fearing the price as well. Been drooling to order this since I saw him at SDCC, but after the Luke X-Wing I'm really nervous these prices are gonna keep blasting off

I don't really know how much the Tie Fighter pilot appeals to me. The outfit is sort of cool but on its own I don't know where it'd fit since I don't remember seeing any of them outside of their fighters. X-Wing Luke is different since he wore that look outside the vessel a couple times. A Death Star gunman could be cool though. Always liked their odd shaped helmets and simple costumes.

All the Imperial troops are great simple character designs unto themselves, but your mileage may vary.
That said - with these new SSC prices, you've gotta be a pretty big fan of said character to drop the dough now.
