that's one hell of a statue.

Thanks man, it sure is.

Thanks Nacho.

I think this box is a bit smaller than the Pred maquette. Sorry for pouring lemon juice in that cut for you.:wacky If it makes you feel better, I had to lose my maquette to pay last month's friggin' rent. Lame. I was really hoping to see these two together.

Here's hoping they eventually do a Pred 2 maquette and I can afford it when they do. He would be a more appropriate companion piece to this anyway, since he's the one with the Aliens' skulls in his trophy display.

Sorry to here that man, that must have been painfull to let it go
like that. I supose you have to do what you have to do.

Nacho, thanks for taking pics from all angles and posting them. I had to make up my mind tonight on whether or not to keep my order, these were a huge help.

Kind of shady that they upped the edition size by 150, not cool at all. Never the less seeing the in hand pics and the level of detail put into the statue, blows my mind. I was going to cancel as I didn’t want to charge this... but I can’t pass this up now. And this will complete my collection Pred, Term, Alien. I will post pics as well when I receive mine, along with a few shots next to the pred.

Glad my pics helped you decide to keep it, you'd have to have rocks in your head to cancel this baby..:D

Here you have it. It was a typo!
Yep, typo :( Apologies for the error and any confusion is has caused; it was not intentional at all. Occasionally things get lost in translation from start to finish. The number on the base is the correct edition size and our site has been updated.

I wouldn't go that far. SS are a generous company who have plenty of giveaways, promotions and reward points. Plus they are generous with their time. Sure critique when necessary like this occassion.

They're a greedy American company... What did you expect!?

Well, we're not seeing anyone pissed off enough to cancel or return their order. I would imagine that people will get over Typogate rather quickly.

:)

Just got converted but am putting it on the flexi. Too much stuff coming at once. Don't mind the wait.

Ahh yes, the reward points gate. They make up what rewards points they give you when they overcharge on the shipping. It doesn't cost $16 to ship a 12" GI Joe figure???

I love this maquette it is just AWESOME!!!! If you are curently
waiting on one you will not be disapointed.
Anyway I'll let my crappy pic's do the talking,

I have also posted a tone of pics in my collection thread, if you want to take a
look click the link under my sig and go to the last page (17).

Very cool....does it the alien itself feel heavy? like its solid polystone. Or does it feel really light for its size?

Their shipping is always outrageous.

My other big hobby is guitars, and all of those places are able to ship guitars for free. They charge me $40 to ship some PFs from CA to CT. You can ship a guitar for almost half that in some cases.

Its a very heavy and solid peice both the base and the alien.
Comes in 5 peices, Base, alien, tail & arms.

Cool. Whenever I get stuff with separate parts, I get worried I'll come in and find them cracked on the ground or something! My CM Pred scares me the most! :lol
