looks great........:clap

Looking GREAT mate now just need to get my hands on some Stormies somewhere along the road.

Thanx guys, I actually missed out on Sideshows original
Stormtrooper due to illness(I was married!), so mine is
made up from Sandtrooper + Blackhole Stormtrooper bits
+ bobs, my custom helmet and a little work. Well, actually
a lot of work, ever try airbrushing black armour white
amongst other things?:panic:

It may make you ga ga but your doing an amazing job with this Stormie mate.

I think this will be the way I go too with getting my first (bits n pieces here and there) :panic:

Looks fab so fab to celebrate i will cut down the mightiest tree in all the forest with a herring!

Lovin the codpiece most fine and shinny!

Nice work. Love mods. They make the figures look so much better.

Thanx guys and as for you Dorgs, I don,t know what you,re on,
but I want some of it!!:cuckoo:

Okay, while I was working on Trooper Jagers new belt my mate Tom
asked me what I used for the mic tips on the helmet. Quite simple really,
take a 1/35th panzer IV, (mine was a Dragon one), use the
return roller mounts, shorten them front + rear, thin them out,
then pack with a little epoxy putty + voila!, nicely tapered mic tips.:wink1:

Hi guys, update at last. I decided that to rework
the Sideshow belt wasn,t going to work, so I made
a new one. The main material used was plastic card
in various thicknesses. Be kind!:panic:

Looks great. I like how you are using all sorts of different bits in assembling him, nice job.

Kitbashing various parts is the ethos of Star Wars :D You`ve done a great job indeed, now to copy this for another 10 or Stormies :p HAHAHA

So So SO fanchuffingrandtastic!!!!!!!

Thanx for the kind comments guys. I,ve really enjoyed
doing this figure and best of all I now own an original
one of a kind stormtrooper.:yess: I,ve still to do a few
tweaks here and there but otherwise I,m very happy
with it so far, due in no small part to the great response
I,ve had from all of you!:wave

Um, looks great, but what was wrong with the original one?

Well old bean, it,s like this. Don,t get me wrong, like many of us
I love Sideshows products, but when I joined this forum a few
months ago quite a lot of people seemed unhappy with certain
aspects of the stormtrooper. Things like the oversize "mic tips",
on the helmet and wide chest armour amongst other things made
me want to try to make the figure a bit more like his "real" full
sized counter part. Also, being a model maker + sculptor I
wanted to own an original (plus I can,t leave things alone
without wanting to alter them in some way!)
