WOW! I would have taken a shot on that one myself. I wish I could get a good deal on the old sideshow alien. It's going for over $4000 on ebay right now.

The great recast scare has truly affected this piece.

Fakes are ruing/will ruin the value of certain collectibles. This however looks like the seller just forgot a digit in the price. People do make mistakes.

The seller is a cool guy and I bought my 1:1 Lord of Darkness bust from him. He struck deal with a buyer for much more and just wanted to avoid ebay fees. NOBODY got the deal of a lifetime.

You will find that the one's with buy it now listings for
$1200 or under are recasts...
I can garante you will never find a B.I.N for $1200 on an original
SS aliens warrior bust...
