Might be my favorite Iron Man display I've seen on the boards. It's all the essentials from the films. Good selection and arguably the best Tony figure too.

I just got Maria Hill today. My next few on preorder are all Star wars. As far as Marvel goes, i'm targeting Nick Fury from Winter Soldier and I think i'm gonna preorder Civil War Cap and(pending any extremely radical varients from infinity war) he'll probably be the last Cap.

I really wanted to go for the Hall of Armor displays but didn't have the space or the cash so I just settled with an amazing backdrop from one of the members here...his name escapes me but thank you for the backdrop! Amazingly, I had all 7 armors but was all like maybe I could fit just ONE more. Thank god Hot Toys came out with a Silver Centurion figure cause that was my favorite armor in IM3 and a top 3 of my favorite armors from the comics so the measurements on my shelf worked out perfectly!

where did you get the background pieces from?

Those are the railing pieces that each come the marvel select chitauri figures. I have about for in the background. Need one more to stretch all the way across. They remind me of of the final battle scene in aou more so then avengers.

Longtime lurker. Finally got some time to snap some pics. I just put up Mk IX and Pepper. Here's just my IM 1/6 collection. Not pictured are the IM3 exclusives from Sideshow. I'm debating on whether to put them out just yet. Plus I have to get more Hall of Armors. By the way anyone know of the weight limit for those things? Should I go with a third level?

Notice that they are in the middle bays. There is more room in the middle bays then in the outer due to the way the side panel joins two bays. It's only about a half inch total but that is enough to squeeze them in without damage. I wish I had the skills to do custom work so I could make a bay for Igor. Your's are the best I've seen. I'm curious if you are going to do all 42 armors with custom bays. Any chance you'd sell a custom bay for Igor?

My 3.75" Iron Man collection.
I stopped with the Iron Man 3 line because they changed up the articulation to crap.
So these are Marvel Universe and Iron Man 2 figures.

I didn't think width was an issue, I was wondering how you fit them in the height wise without making them look to crunched or hunched over.


My dio is pretty much done except for small details and figure additions so I will be limited to 15 HPP armors in the wine cellar and 7 Armors in the shop HOA.

My Igor bay was pretty simple to make because I wasn't to worried about making it match the HPP HOA bays. In your case you could make it the center bottom bay bay for 2 levels to maintain symmetry it would have to take up 2 - 3 bay widths. If you went with 2 it would cause symmetry issue with your 3rd level because you would probably ant to stay with 7 bays for the original marks.


The best way would be 3 bays but then you loose 6 total bays for Igor.

Once you decide on the layout all you would need to make is the bottom panel, back panel and top panel. I might be interested in building something like this for you and I have other ideas but they are difficult to explain via post so PM me if you want to give me a call.
