Bollocks. The youth of today are doing fine. But thanks to the internet and a willing media, every bit of bad news gets instant dissemination.

Whenever I drive past my local skate park, or walk along the beach, or take my kids to a playground, what do I see... wall to wall kids having fun.

One Indian chick in a billion tops herself for likely a whole raft of reasons, her facebook ban being the tipping point, and somehow this is a reflection of the evils of social media, gaming etc.

Yeah, I agree. The FB thing was just the straw that broke the camel's back and she did a stupid thing and killed herself. Sad, though. Lots of people do similar things in their youth but aren't successful and thankfully get past that stage.

You know how forever people were like this new generation sucks. For the first time ever it really is true.

This generation grew up on the internet and has no social interaction skills. They don't know how to deal with or talk to real people so they have no connection to them or feeling for them. They don't care about anyone but themselves and see everything in life as a contest to outdo everyone else who shows off on social media. Music has no meaning anymore at all, even the rap people hated in the 90s told a story. Now acceptable lyrics are "*** and titties, *** and titties" for 4 minutes straight. Movies are remakes of everything with way less heart and soul. You get famous by being simply being naked in public or doing a porn and than we put that person on television and envy their life of arguing over whos cell phone or fake **** are better. Idiocracy is coming true and it isn't funny.

I am actually thinking of getting rid of Facebook. Lots of annoying stuff on there, but that's not the issue. The issue is there is also a lot of great stuff on there that can make it addictive. I just need a breather from it. So gonna do what's best for me and take myself away from it for a while. I see how it has worked with others and they have been better for it.

I love when people ***** when they see your stuff in the newsfeed (generally speaking).... you think they would understand how it works... click the down arrow to the right top corner of one's status which brings down a menu, and "hide all comments from this person", is lost on most people. lol

We have a neighbor/mother that brags that she's still lactating, but I don't think it's her kids that are doing the suckling. They're all in high school and pretty normal, so I don't know.
