Shazam would be a day one purchase for me. Have truly loved this character since my introduction to him in the seventies. The Ordway take in the nineties was a lot of fun but I love the original Fawcett stuff from the forties. Wow am I excited!

YES!!!! This better be 100% Alex Ross like in Justice and Kingdom Come. Not a fan of the new 52 Shazam.

Ross's Captain Marvel is the only one I would buy ,I don't want a cartoonish Captain Marvel.

^Agreed. Ross for Captain Marvel is the way to go. For me that is the definitive Captain Marvel. The base could feature either the 6 gods that give him his powers or the seven deadly sins.
