Thanks! I try to use a shallow depth of field to separate the toy from the background. And for a little bit of atmosphere, I just blew some dirt for the R2 shot, and for the stormtrooper I burnt some bbq smoking chips in a metal pie tin. Oh also, I added some grain in post to get a film grain feel.

BTW: What f-stop are you running?
haha thanks, I was shooting in the lower 2.X range for these.
