Question to anyone with a kit and to Serang re his full figure: What body are you using?
I got some unpainted heads. I started painting the other night
It's the first time I've painted an African American head. I was doing pretty good with the tones and highlights etc but once I got the paint on the heads to match up with the AA HT TT, I realized Jimi's skin tone was much lighter than the TT Obama body.

So what are you guys doing ? Are you using a different body ?
Are you painting the body and/or neck also ? Will I be able to lighten up the already dark heads by going over with a lighter wash or diluted lighter acrylic ?
Any tips or info appreciated

Gee, I guess there's a lot of folks out there thinking to thmeselves

"Uh Oh I had'nt thought of that" or
" I'll worry about that when my set gets here"

I used Obama body, without the muscle leg parts.
I was painted same color body to head, but many friends told me 'too dark'.
So, i repainted more bright color, anyway, the body does not look in clothes.
If you really need perfect matched color, just painting your body.

Thank you

I think that is the way to go. My outfit will show a bit more of the chest. Regardless, the neck will show. I was also thinking of going the opposite way of darkening a European-American body instead of lightening the African American body.

Yeah. I know what you mean.

I can see myself dropping customs money for axl, slash and duff only though.

Put me up on the list when you are gonna it :wave

Prime 90s era axl would be kinda hard though. Since hes normally shirtless and pantless. Not sure if the tattoos are doable. The later year axl would be easier, but I don't want no fat axl though :lol

I think I'd probably go for this, for all of them
