This looks promising, feels like a soft goods Mondo figure. Batman teased as well? Skin looks a bit too pink for my liking, hopefully it's tweaked.

This is what I wanted Mondo to do all along for their BTAS line.

I like that the one picture shows Batman in the background so I am guessing he is next. I hope they go deep into the line.

The Batman figure will probably be based on The New Batman Adventures design / The Batman - Superman Movie. While I'd prefer the BTAS design, it is great another company is making Bruce Timm-design based figures. The Mondo figures are currently out of my budget and I'd be in favour of cloth outfits covering up articulation.

I’ll probably PO this as I think it looks better than a lot of the statues that have been released in this style.

I wonder if the silhouetted Batman with be from S1-3 or if it’ll be S4 since that’s the version that met this Superman during the World’s Finest episodes as well as the ones where Brainiac took over Bruce Wayne

I don’t think I’ll get Superman but very curious about Batman. Especially if they make Robin and some villains. Glad I didn’t get any of the Mondo releases.

I dig the way this looks but I'm also glad I'm in the Mondo releases. Mondo has a whole line up in store. Two Face, Ivy, Clayface, Robin, Batgirl, Batman Beyond, etc etc. These third party companies tend to do 1-2 releases before switching to something else. Literally what happened with SSR Toys as well.

They announced a clothed version of BTAS Joker, said Batman was also coming and it's now been a year without any word or sight of it. S-Hero is probably going to do Batman and then just stop. Great for those who just want 1-2 but Mondo definitely has the benefit of being able to put out more unique side characters.

Their Doctor Doom was just released and I just saw a nice YouTube review of it so I wouldn’t call them unproven.

Yeah that's fair. In an ideal world, MONDO would be doing what S-Hero is doing here for their entire line but then I imagine they would be nowhere near the amount of characters they are at now. Bit of a monkey-paw situation with it. It being done in a more traditional toy sense allows them to output them far more quickly, albeit with it looking "cheaper" and more toy-like. I don't mind as much since it's accurate to the stylized cartoonish representation of them.

The body looks awesome, but I think it’s the whites of the eyes that are killing the sculpts for me. It feels…off without the beady, animated Timm eyes.
