That Black Widow looks better than the Hot Toys one!
I think it's to do with the fact that Marvel isn't as popular in Japan as it is in the U.S. (where until recently they couldn't even get their figures in), as well as the fact that the S.H. Figuarts line tends to have a much smaller output of figures anyway. I mean, look how long it took to get Hawkeye and Black Widow from Age of Ultron. Even if it's what they teased, I don't think getting the entire cast of AOU or Civil War was ever really feasible for them.
Spoiler:First the characters needed as of now - Iron Man, Hulkbuster, Captain America, Thor, Hulk, Black Widow, Hawkeye, War Machine, Falcon, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Bucky, Ant-Man, Wasp, Iron Spider, Black Panther, Dr Strange, Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, Groot, Thanos
Using the same logic they had for Aou and IW this is how:
10 for IW
IW
1. Dr Strange
2. Star-Lord
3. Captain America
4. Iron Spider
5. Iron Man
6. Thanos
7. Black Widow
8. Black Panther
9. Bucky
10. Hulkbuster
2 for AM&tW
Ant-Man and the Wasp (assuming they don't have costume changes like Black panther and Spider-Man)
11. Ant-Man
12. Wasp
10 for A4
Avengers 4
13. Thor
14. Hulk
15. Hawkeye
16. War Machine
17. Falcon
18. Vision - same mold, add a head without the stone. This is now the third time we get the same figure with one different accessory each time, that's how you make money.
19. Scarlet Witch
20. Gamora
21. Drax
22. Rocket & 23. Groot 2 pack
While I agree too a certain extent, I bolded things to talk about.
AoU needed 3 more figures and CW needed 6.
For Marvel being not as popular in Japan as it is in America, I point you to the Dragon Ball line, where American/international sales saved it from cancellation.
So should we expect these to be released in the US by Bluefin?
I would think so. Just expect them all to include some other thing to bump up the price past $80
Yea unless the extra is a must have, there’s really no reason to go the bluefin route. I wonder though if they’re going to use the new stands as the extra. They’re about $20. The cheapest figure is about $60 so they could sell it for $80.

The only reason I went with bluefin for the Ragnarok figures was because I couldn't budget them in at the time to pay upfront for them.
Do the web exclusives ship to the U.S.?
You’ll have to buy it from a third party like nippon-yasan.com. These particular web exclusives are only for the Japanese market so they require a Japanese address to ship them to. What the third party sites do is basically order from tamashii and it’s shipped to them and then they ship it to you.
