Got banned for spamming MGS threads and making alternate accounts [emoji38] Henry became infamous for other things that I could PM you about.

Anyway, I just finished Revelations 2 with the bad ending, and sting from the bad ending aside...it's...all right, at its best. I kind of expected much worse, but it's overall not that bad. I feel like Capcom put in some honest effort - not a whole lot, mind you, but enough for me to just go 'good effort Capcom'. But it still feels low budget (I blame the episodic format), and could have been a lot better in some spots.

What actually happened? He was actually cool in the RE customs thread.

It does feel low budget, because it kind of is. But I do appreciate the effort, despite messing some things up like Claire and Barry faces and voices. I thought the good ending rocked.

I think he/she had a meltdown or something. Or was exposed.

I believe it was exposure. Funny how he was such a "friend" to people here, yet he's been back under multiple accounts and never tells them.

Besides what Pliss and P_A said, there's other things like how Henry compulsively lied to everyone about what he really is; his (almost its at this point) real gender, probably job and so on :lol

Yeah I can admire Rev2's effort, it did try at times and it felt genuine. But the messes...they do bring the game down, for good reason. I need the good ending later, probably will attempt over the summer.

Does RE6 have local 2 player splitscreen co-op? Looks like that's coming out this month.

^ wait what? I never noticed! That's so stupid...low budget in many ways :ohbfrank:

The first Rev was corny, and the characters... They need to stop creating these Final Fantasy characters and cities. Terragrigia.... :lol I wonder if Capcom is continuing the storyline of Rev 2 for RE 7 or another Revs game...

Yeah it did have local co-op as well as online co-op. For some stupid reason, local co-op was all Revelations 2 had. No online co-op for some reason.

Wait, theres no online co-op for the story mode at all? On any platform? I've not played the story mode on pc or ps4 in a very long time, but you can online co-op in raid mode but ive never tried to do it in the campaign

Yeah you can online co-op on raid mode but for some reason can't in campaign. Retarded.

I liked it, right up until Chris showed up and he ruined it.

For me it was Rachel and Jessica's designs and Keith and the other dude making lame jokes constantly. Other than that I still enjoyed it. Enjoyed Rev2 far more though since it was way more serious and less convoluted. Also had to do with the main story more so than Rev1 and RE6.

You'll either enjoy it or won't care for it. I'm in between with Rev 2.

I prefer Rev1 far more than Rev2. The settings, tone and music in Rev1 feel like its a Resident Evil game while you play it. But the Rev1 story doesnt feel like a RE its crazy. But i say that with a pinch of salt, as at the end of the day Revelations 2" big reveal " is probably the most crazy thing in the Resident Evil franchise.

I prefer Rev 1 raid mode too. Which is odd, because in Rev 2 Raid mode you can visit locations of prior games with enemies from prior games and that should tug at the nostalgia strings more.

Some RE6 (PS4) "Remaster" info, from a Gaf user:

The PS4 version is running at the graphical equivalent of about medium settings of the PC version at 1080p/60 FPS.

I left motion blur on on the PC version (on PC it can be turned off) but motion blurring is used much less on the PC version.
Lighting and beams from the flashlights are not as good on PS4 either.
If I had to guess, the PS4 version is about the same as medium settings or medium with some low settings on the PC version

The PS4 version of Resident Evil 6 does not have AA. Or at least not full AA. PS4 version also has more motion blur.

PC Max settings screenshots I took on 25 out of 40 brightness setting:

PC version Max Settings. FXAA3XHQ on.

The PS4 version with brightness turned up to 40 out of 40 brightness is still darker than the PC version on Max Settings at only 25 brightness:

-Rescuing Deborah and boss fight (PS4):

I'll probably pick it up just so I can say that I have all the physical copies in the series, but honestly, that PS4 version really doesn't look all that hot.

The fact that visually it doesn't seem like much of an improvement, especially in light of REmake and RE0 Remasters, does not help this game's case because that would helped a lot. I can get this for a few bucks cheaper at Best Buy on PS3 so I might get that instead...

The only significant difference it's basically: PS4: 1080p+ 60fps Vs PS3: 720p+30fps

I'd bet that they have used the same kind of Post-Process AA (Not FXAA) than The Ps360 had.. But In any case, and if I had to choose; I'd buy the PS4 "Remaster" instead (And wait for a discount/offer in a couple of months). cause the Frame rate on PS3 it's pretty poor..

Edit: Neverthless, if you have a decent PC, then buy RE6 for a few bucks on Steam . That would be the best & Cheapest option of ALL.. :lecture
