Superman III: 7.5/10 Decent Superman film, not as good as I and II but still very enjoyable. It could have done with just a bit less sillyness IMO.

Superman IV: 6/10 Yeah... It's unfortunate that this one isn't as good as the others. Everything seemed worse, not only the story but also the effects. The only thing that remained good was Reeve's acting.

You must be REALLY forgiving.

I saw one scene of this movie before I decided that people at my high school could for sure make a better film.

not trying to start anything but that movie makes Batman & Robin look like a Nolan film.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I liked the style of it, and the scene with Ted Raimi was awesome. But other then that...ehh....

I bought the Blu Ray for $6.83 brand new, I hadn't seen it yet and like Cooper. This was the most pathetic film i've seen since TCM The Beginning. Zero thought goes into these pieces of ____.

The Strangers 9/10 One of the most underrated horror films of its time. Bryan Bertino really understands true horror imo.

Hey i agree with you for once, i knew there must be something we agree on :lol

I really enjoyed this film, very simplistic and so little gore but man it was tense as f__k :)

I am, purely because of the awesome work that Christopher Reeve did as Superman. Unfortunately everything else in this one was nowhere near as good as anything in the other films, which was unfortunate. 6/10 might be a bit high, but for me it justified this grade this time. If I watch it again (and I have to admit it's a big IF) then the rating might change :)

Wall-E: 10/10
A beautiful Pixar film!

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I liked the strangers , I sold some crappy blu ray horrors I picked up on impulse recently but that was one I knew I'd have to keep.

Re: Rate The Last Movie You Watched.

I thought that movie was garbage. :lol

I thought The Strangers was decent but not once did I feel even remotely creeped out nor did I find it very suspenseful. Maybe my expectations were too high cause I had a friend who kept going on about how creepy it was but it really didn't do anything for me. I did appreciate they didn't go for the gore factor or toture porn and tried to rely more on suspense but ultimately it just fell short imho. I did like the masks though.

Ghost Rider: 9/10

I loved this movie when it first came out, I was a bit obsessed.

I watched some clips of the movie on youtube a while ago and thought it was cheesey and I had outgrown it, but over the weekend I watched it and critiqued it using a rubric as a homework assignment for my advanced drama class, and I ended up really loving it again.

Sure, there was a bit of cheese in a few spots, but honestly you can't look at it that way because that's what the ghost rider character is. After watching the movie as a whole, the first transformation scene went from cheesey to epic.

The final fight could have been a bit better, but honestly I love the flaming skulls, the story, the western aspect, and Nicolas Cage was great.

Many will disagree with me I'm sure, but I loved this movie and I'm pumped for the sequel now.

Or to put it another way:

"Sometimes a movie fails and succeeds at the same time. Because by any real-world standard, this is a stupid piece of junk. But it's very good at being a stupid piece of junk..."

Pretty much the only way to look at it in a positive light imo.

No. I enjoyed the film and thought it was great. Why other people don't is beyond me.

If it's because it wasn't entirely true to the source material....the movie's story was much better.

Just to be clear, the article I quoted was a positive review of Ghost Rider.
