I been getting a lot of special screening tickets lately. Meaning, all the movies I have been seeing lately I get to see before the masses and I don't pay a dime, nickel, or penny. Yup, FREE!

My latest free flick at the movies was the Easy A.

Superb casting. Cool sountrack. Loved the flow, pacing, and direction of the movie. It's just a very funny cute movie and I am in love with Emma Stone. This movie rocks on all levels. The fake sex scene was absolutely hilarious and had the entire theatre in hysterics. I highly recommend how well crafted this 92 minute flick was. Cute and funny is how I would sum it up. Emma and this movie reminded me what Lindsay Lohan and Mean Girls was before LL went to _____sville USA. Population.... her.

I love pleasant surprises, especially when they are free.

MacGruber (Unrated) 7/10 Not anything spectacular but had some really funny (and raunchy) scenes.

Superman: 8.5/10 First time that I saw this film, since a very long time. So long infact, that I hardly remembered anything about it! It was a great watch! It might look a bit outdated, some things might be a bit cheesy but overall it managed to do just what these films are supposed to do, and that is to make it feel awesome when the hero saves the day! I'm really looking forward to watching the other parts over the weekend!!!

Ghost Rider: 9/10

I loved this movie when it first came out, I was a bit obsessed.

I watched some clips of the movie on youtube a while ago and thought it was cheesey and I had outgrown it, but over the weekend I watched it and critiqued it using a rubric as a homework assignment for my advanced drama class, and I ended up really loving it again.

Sure, there was a bit of cheese in a few spots, but honestly you can't look at it that way because that's what the ghost rider character is. After watching the movie as a whole, the first transformation scene went from cheesey to epic.

The final fight could have been a bit better, but honestly I love the flaming skulls, the story, the western aspect, and Nicolas Cage was great.

Many will disagree with me I'm sure, but I loved this movie and I'm pumped for the sequel now.

I hate that movie so much. I had to see it 3 times in the theater thanks to my dumbass friends. 3 ____ING TIMES. All in the same weekend....ugh...raughhh..

I rented it to see if the unrated version was better....I never put the disc in the try. Couldnt do it.

And I agree, I thought Ghost Rider was terrible! I actually really enjoyed the Director's cut of Daredevil, so was thinking that Ghost Rider could work.

Superman II: 7/11

Superman II The Richard Donner Cut: 8.5/10


I watched both these films back to back just now, to fully experience the difference between the two, since I've never seen this film before.
The Donner cut was definitely the best, due to a way better continuity with part 1, and a much better film overall with less sillyness and just better scenes, especially with Marlon Brando being in this version again!!
