On the day of Star Trek birthday, I have the following non-constructive post.

"1/6 Star Trek, figures. A platform barely alive. Ladies and Gentlemen, we can rebuild 1/6 Trek. We have the technology. We have the capability to build the world's first Trek brand by Trek fans and friends. 1/6 Trek will be better than they were before. Better, stronger, faster."

The operation started last night at 11pm Pacific Standard Time.

This thread is one of the only reasons I occasionally visit this site. Hope Nanjin proves successful and we get more Trek.

"Non-constructive" ? What do you mean with that?

The post/message you quote is from whom? From you, Nanjin? Or some other company?

You or they "can rebuild", do they have the licence from the ST Franchise?

Continue to post Non-Constructive Post.

1/6 Trek has a pulse, and all its vital signs are recovering at satisfying rates.

For the well being of this New Voyage, again I have to keep quiet.

I have captured some significant grounds, and secured their positions. A portion of the 1/6 Trek friends are in secure zones, but I still need to break a few more barriers in order for everyone to enjoy their collections.

Those who don't have faith with 1/6 Trek, move on but do look back from time to time and see if your assessments were right or wrong.

Those who have faith, stay put. I am going to give you guys Heart Attacks in massive scale.

This is going to be a Kitchen Sink operation. All knowledge, resources, and appropriate specialists will be used.

Sept 7, 2020 is a day worth remembering.

Wonderful news, Nanjin! I can?t wait to see what the future holds for our Star Trek hobby! Thank you!

For 1/6 Trek in Nanjin I trust!

I pretty much just check in and out of this thread to see if he’s posted any updates on Trek things. I will hold on to my TWOK 1/6 Kirk and Spock hope till all hope ends.

I try to avoid all the negative stuff in the thread there is so much doom and gloom and panic out there right now I just have very little patience for it in the hobby I love. Don’t get me wrong everyone is entitled to their own opinions and none of us are perfect. I do believe constructive criticism is a good thing but I tune out when everything turns to drama.

Looking forward to what lies ahead...

I too, am looking forward to all lies ahead. Meanwhile, we can all sing “Row, row, row your boat” seated around a campfire toasting “marsh melons.” Speaking of which, I would like the 1/6 campfire scene, please, and don’t forget the little toasted marsh melons.

And since there are no such things as marsh melons did y’all know that the marsh melons lines in the movie were what were left of the original script which consisted of a scene in which McCoy plays a joke on Spock and reprograms the computer Spock accesses to learn about camping. McCoy makes the computer call them “marsh melons” with the idea being he and Kirk would spend the evening laughing at Spock’s mispronunciation. While these scenes were never shot somehow the result was retained in the final script.

I for one look forward to seeing what you bring us next. I have a feeling it'll be worth the wait.

And if there's a chance of Chekov and Uhura, there's going to be joyous dancing on the shelves...

My custom Chekov head is on its way, the bodies arrived and they look about the right height and then I just need Chapel. Decker's neck is fractionally too fat but passable.

Obviously if we get 'official' versions, I will be there. I will send Decker, Ilia, Uhura, Chekov, and maybe my Famke Phoenix Girl off for painting all together, then I just need more belts and badges to get going.

Waiting with baited breath Nanjin. Hoping for finishing the TOS line up and my personal grail is the legendary seven in their TUC appearance.

I made it in 7" once. I bought the Friday the 13th figure only to get the campfire.

And a little crossover...

You are forgetting the unforgettable Rand.

Rand is definitely (and rightly) at the top of many people's "never-gunna-happen" list, but personally, I think Nurse Chapel, or even Number One from the Captain Pike pilot, would be slightly higher priority than Rand, as a tribute to Star Trek.

Definitely splitting hairs once you get past the "big seven" but Majel Barrett was so fundamental to Star Trek, both on screen and off, I'd love to see a figure made to acknowledge that.

Yes, Chapel is definitely in the same mix as Rand. I did forget about her. I consider Pike in a different place, though, since 2 captains can’t co-inhabit, but he, too, would be welcomed into the fold.
