I honestly wish I was a TOS fan with all these releases, I've never seen it so I can't say I'm not a fan, but this is an exciting time. I could only imagine if a property I really loved was getting great releases like this and so close from announcement.

I am a Deep Space Nine fan so I think I will be getting something from that, can't wait to see!

Then you should watch or re-watch the Deep Space Nine episode "Trials and Tribble-ations" and that should give you all the impetus you need to dive right into the original series so you can start enjoying all of these awesome releases!

How about a lady Starfleet officer to kick start DS9?

Some might disagree but think it would be nice to break from the original series for a few offerings to add some variety to this line and bring in fans of the other shows.

It looks like their going do like 4 or 5 figures a year, with the TOS crew being completed first.

I think QMX has to address the WRATH OF KHAN figures, they have had them out at many events, it’s time to deliver on them. The prototypes look great.

And the Chris Pine figure, that must go into production ASAP (again, it was shown a LONG TIME AGO)

After that, go for all of the other series, do one from each series, switching off between them to bring in as many different fans as possible.

Nanjin’s doing it right, I have absolute confidence he has everything back on track.

If my assumption of segmenting Trek fans into 3 different eras is correct and my model works out, then they can be concurrent releases. No need to wait.

I am positioning Trek figures (Product positioning is must do marketing process) as an “Activity” instead of merchandise. Trek figures collecting will be...

“A fun and enjoyable process.”

even waiting between preorder and figure delivery can be a fun process.

I think I have injected some fun back to 1/6 since the day i was pissed off, and I will continue to use...

“anticipation brings climax” concept to position 1/6 trek.

“anticipation brings climax” concept needs fine control in timing . Seems like my timing is correct with what's going on with Scotty and Sulu now.

1/6 Trek fun start when the fan has a desire for a Trek figure.

Honestly, it's never too late to start! I grew up in East Germany in a place where I was not able to watch TOS in the Seventies. Later I thought I would not enjoy it if I hadn't grown up with it. I tried the new movies but realized I don't know enough about the franchise, so I started at the beginning and quickly fell in love with it. It has good stories and great actors. You can overlook a wobbly set and simple special effects then. It all adds to the charm.

Likewise, I have only seen the one DS9 episode with the Tribbles, but one day I am going to expand my horizon.

I think you're on to something here. With Hot Toys pre orders the wait is often so long that by the time they start showing up, I've often moved on the the "next figure". The quick turnaround that seems to be in place now with the Star Trek figures allows me to enjoy and appreciate them more I think. What I do know is that my interest in 1/6 figures has returned because of the shot in the arm this line has gotten.

Small size and flexibility is the advantage of Trek.

Let me leak a little more to you guys....

Each and every single 1/6 Starfleet uniform will be produced by a Prototyper, not mindless workers who rely on muscle memories.

I have a specialist for each series of Trek uniforms. They will take turns to be the production manager for the specific job on hand, while the other specialists become supporting staffs.

Can't wait to see the Enterprise uniforms in 1/6.

Man do I enjoy the peek behind the curtain so to speak, into the process of getting these figures to our greedy little hands!

I'm not even a big enterprise guy but I'd take Archer and T'Pol if they're made. Maybe even Phlox or Hoshi. Next Gen I'm all in and DS9 I'd probably be pretty all in too. I'd be pickier on Voyager but would still buy several.

Nanjin do we have any more alien type crew coming? I know we will get Worf. Any chance of a Quark for DS9? All those custom Ferengi pics got me to craving the real thing. Maybe one figure a year could be an enemy or opposing alien of some kind? That way we can get some Romulans, Klingons, Cardassians, etc.
