BTW, do we know if they're doing the Finch bat from the "Rebirth" version or classic batman? I'm not sure I'm loving the gold border on the bat symbol on his chest in Rebirth. But the rest of the suit design is excellent.

Same, not a fan of that border but I could live with it if the statue is amazing and depending on how they choose to represent it.

However, apparently the image they posted is an actual teaser for the statue, and it's definitely not out of Rebirth.

Oh, I thought that was his wife in the picture.

Anyway, can't wait for this Batman to release! I actually isn't entirely care for the comic, but the premise was cool and the statue looks killer.

Here are a few pictures I took of it at SDCC a few weeks ago, this thing is an amazing piece in person, definitely stands out of the group.
My only criticism would be that the bottom of the nose looks to be a different colour than the rest of the mouth area but that could be an error on the prototype

I'd rather go without the statues than to pay that price.
Sucks that there's that one die-hard fan of the character that missed the EX preorder window to someone who just wants to flip the stuff.
But that's life I guess.

It's the same seller / flipper (username: insertcoin09). He's flipping a bunch of these preorders on the bay including prime 1 DKR, batman beyond, robin, Leonardo etc. he's priced them 40%-80% over retail. I agree, it's sad that a true fan missed these pieces and it goes to a guy like this. But this happens with special edition watches, cars etc etc etc. nothing can be done about it other than to limit purchases to 1 per customer which helps minimize the damage I guess.
