I think the demand was low.

I couldn’t order it based on its price. Just didn’t seem like there was enough there character wise to drop $1,000 on.

I did however blow $1,200 on Megatron though.. that piece is bad arse!! [emoji23][emoji23]

Megatron was a far better looking and way cooler character, yes...!

Not sure it'll go that cheap, but I think you're right about it being THE version.

Unfortunately that probably won't be the case. Given the regular Optimus without those extra parts is already at that price tag, Jetfire combination will probably be much more.

That sounds more realistic, if you meant Shockwave. The DofM Optimus was $2300 I think, which was weird since it is about the same size as the current Primes (maybe they overshot it being the first one? or did it have more details?) and Shockwave is $2600 and much larger than that and I imagine Jetfire Optimus would be as larger in scale.

Yeah, either way it’s going to cost a lot. I’m hoping for $2300 and some low payments.

How can you get megatron with Optimus? These two needs to be together for the set. Both leaders! Come on do it! Low Es, and ex or fail!

I was fortunate enough to get an Ex, and the word is that they cut the ES in half. Reg went from 1000 to 500 and Ex went from 500 to 200, so I dont think many people got in on this man.

Sideshow is still selling the reg at 1000 right now? Are you sure they lowered it?

They cut the es down because there is like no interest in the statue.

Not for $1,000 anyway.

Look how many pages it’s interest has filled here.

It might do well now because it now has a low es

Well, the nice thing is you should be able to get it at a reduced cost on Ebay.

I don't think the price is horrible given the quality that Prime delivers, but I respect the opinion (and agree with you guys in some ways.)

I’m going to call ss and ask them why the Es is still showing 1000 for the reg. Just curious why they didn’t change it. The ex sold out either way. But megatron is not moving either.

Ok I just called ss and no it’s incorrect that the rumors said they cut the Es down. It has not changed at all. So the ex is still 750 and reg is 1000. This is the final word from ss today.

They are able to process additional early payments just like SS
