I’m aware.

I think I was the first one to bring up the size discrepancies between them on both forums when it was first shown on Sideshow Live, because prior to that I don’t think anyone else had brought it up.

All I know is the Batman and Superman in that picture look amazing and I can't wait to get them lol.

Me to! Only getting Bats and Supes so it's not a problem but I can totally see what they are saying. Ivy in particular looks like a midget next to them!

I wonder why they would have over scaled Batman and Superman this much. I still might consider Catwoman when they show her but probably wouldn't put her next to these two if she's as small as the other ladies.

This is the size of the two boxes btw...again pics from the same facebook ones that emerged earlier.

Kryptonite ring can just about see in the instructions 4-EX.

Paint apps look incredible on both the blue and grey parts of the suit.

Only slight downside seems to be how plain the base is. Could have used more shading and detail but still overall I just can't wait to get this in hand!

IMO they ruined Batman due to the massive overscaling. Sorry, but he's enormous even next to Superman. I'm happy for the people that love this piece, but I do not regret passing on this.

Even the full shot picture in the instructions is the original prototype. Funny.

Anyway, can’t wait to get him. He looks amazing.

Please remember the difference between 1/4th and 1/3rd scale is only 8% ?! 25% compare to 33% Look at those heads!?!

It's a great piece, just keep in mind that this is HUGE and will probably not pair well directly next to other 1/3rd scales.

not trying to be a total nerd but (1/3)/(1/4)=1.33, so it's 33% bigger

anyway, can't wait to get this thing in hand next week :)

Uh-oh. Math-off lol.

While in terms of a raw # 1/3 is ~8% “bigger” than 1/4, 8 is roughly 33% of 25 (1/4), so a 1/3 (33) scale statue is roughly 33% bigger than 1/4.

So take 1/4 and 1/2. They’re 25% different in terms of raw % (25 vs 50) 25 is half of 50, hence 1/2 is double the size of 1/4.

I’m just finding the lowest common denominator. When looking at 1/3 and 1/4, the common denominator is 12. So to get to a demonator of 12, you multiply 1/3 by 4, and 1/4 by 3. The result is 4/12 and 3/12, and the difference between the two is 1/12, or 8.33%.

8%?! Lol

Anyway this piece looks awesome on its own, but agree it is too big. The sideshow PF was also oversized IMO

Umm.... all you’re essentially doing is saying 33.33% (1/3) less 25.00% (1/4). But the 8.33% difference is relative to 100% or life size.

But as a couple of us have mentioned 1/3 scale is 33% bigger than 1/4 scale or 1/4 scale is 25% smaller than 1/3 scale (just to confuse matters even more, as it’s all about in reference to what). If it’s not I’m going to have to hand in my Chinese nerd card....even though for an Asian I totally suck at maths, but hey, that’s why Calculators were invented.

But anyway that’s enough of Maths school.

All I want to see is this piece right next to the DRK statue. He's 30" crouching while the DRK is 32" standing. Should be quite the eye opener.

Yep, I’m wrong. Take a person who’s 6 feet tall. A 1/3 piece of that person would be 24 inches. A 1/4 scale would be 18 inches. So yes, a 1/3 is 33% bigger.

It takes a 1/3 scale man to admit when he’s wrong. Well done.

When scaling down from 100% to either 25% or 33% it is an 8% difference. Once scaled the difference is 33%. No one is wrong.

Although the piece's sizing is so wrong the math doesn't matter.

Look at this picture! :google

So based on that, converted to 1:1 scale if this batman was standing straight how tall would he be? Just wondering how much they overscaled him.

I think you only got 8% of my joke.

So 1/2 scale at a bargain for those that are buying this piece as a stand-alone?
