Ok, im so not good at taking piccies, so, can anyone advise on either A: a good book to help me learn? B: web tutorials? C: Ebooks or the like?

You need a decent camera Im guessing, what you using currently ?

Yeah, a decent camera can make all the difference. A cheap photo cube off ebay works wonders too.

fuji thing,10x optical full manual ability etc etc,ill update with model when i get home...
