My cousin is a cabinet maker and one of my best mates is a spray
painter. I get them done real cheap but i just have to wait a long
time as they don't prioritise my work. Which is fair enough.
I pretty much just have to pay for the MDF. My spray painter mate
specialises in kitchens and doors so if he has work were he is spraying
black he will paint my stand at the same time. I'm currently waiting
on one more.
Coz' I'm a mechanic I have to repay the favour by fixing their cars.

Not as grand as some of the other pedestals posted in here, but here are three that I've built for my Marvel PFs/CQs.

There actually quite nice 316..I like the red it goes well with the Avengers and I also like the wood finish on the She Hulk display..

Thanks. It's not nearly as bright as the pictures make it seem. I'm still waiting on my wife to finish it....she's going to paint the Avengers logo on the front.

Here's a couple stands I made. I used birch plywood and sprayed them with an hvlp cup gun using oil base gloss black. Sorry for the poor pics but the one with Pumpkinhead gives you an example of the gloss as you can see the reflection of the base board in the finish. I ordered the acrylic first and built the base to fit. I was also going for a minimalist approach to keep the statue the main focus.

I finished up 4 new pedestals today. Feel free to provide constructive criticism if you see something I can do better next time. Two are for the She Hulk PF and the Savage She Hulk CQ and the other two are for the Hulk CQ and upcoming Red Hulk CQ. I still need to build two more: Skaar CQ and custom WW Hulk 1/4 scale.
