One Sixth Scale King Gone Bad???

Is Robin out of town again or something? He's working on
a custom job for me and I can't get any email responses (via direct
or ebay) from him about the job. It's been almost 8 weeks and
nothing after 6 emails.

I was wondering has anyone else had issues contacting Robin(One sixth Scale King)?

I've done plenty of things with One sixth scale king and love the work Robin does,
but this is the second time something like this has happened.
Last time he had to go out of town to help out a sick parent or somthing.
His girlfriend ran ebay and other things
but didn't respond to emails. But it's been longer this time. I
hope everything is okay over there.

So if anyone's talk to or gotten an email from him lately,
let me know.....Any info would be great. We started this custom
project 4 months ago and this is not like Robin.

Still no reply from Robin at One Sixth Scale King
via PM, direct email and ebay email.

Has anyone else had contact at all with Robin.
Even though I've delt with Robin and bought
many things from onesixthscaleking, this has
been way to long(since early March). I sent Robin 4
custom leather clothes item for him to put some
epoxy resin detail on them(which he has done before).

Without those custom parts, I can not make the figures
for my customers. This is starting to worry and
frustrate me.

Anyone whos had contact with Robin, please let me know.

So I went to his real website and did email through that..nothing
I bought some more flag arm patches that I needed from
eBay on the 15th.....Never came. I think something is really
wrong here.

Has anyone else ordered from Robin lately and got their things.
I want to know if it's just me...
or something is really wrong at onesixthscaleking.

That is strange, he was always prompt with the email response when I ordered from him in the past. Fingers crossed that it's just a technical glitch or something. It would be horrible if something happened.

Okay, good and bad news.

Good: If you've been waiting for
something from onesixthscaleking, it should ship out
in the next few days.

Bad: Robin is to ill to run the business right now.

His son Ryan emailed me, saying he is trying to catch up everything
for his father, until his father gets better. He wouldn't state
what was wrong. But that's why everything is a mess at
Onesixthscaleking right now.

Here's hoping it's not to serious and
that Robin gets well soon.

Well, even though I got shipping notice from the son and
he said he was shipping the custom work with the other items I ordered;
it shows it was just an electronic notification from
seller that it was ready for shipping. It was never
picked up for delivery & this was more than a month ago.


So I'm guessing whatever it was, just got worse.
With no contact from them from their on-line store,
forum PM's and ebay emails, it's not looking good.

I really hope Robin is alright.

If anyone knows anything, please post something.

Hmmm, another 9-10 days later still nothing.

Also, some of the links within their website are
no longer working when I tried to contact them
through the custom link.

This is going to suck if something really happened to
Robin.

Well, I'm at the end of my rope.

I have repeatedly sent direct emails, PM on more than one
forum, ebay email and their store site email. I've only
gotten 1 response since march and never got a response again.

I need to know, If anyone has heard anything.

I sent Robin 4 1/6 leather corsets for some custom
work (in March) and I am out those items now and can't get them
again because they are no longer made.

Well another few months and still no replies to my continued
messages via PM, direct email, ebay mail and their website.
Keep in mind, this has been going on since March 2010.

I guess they just decided to keep my $40+ dollars of
custom items I sent them to work on. Which they
verified they received and were working on.

I guess it's just too much to ask for them to at least
respond to my contact attempts. Nothing since July 2010

I know they're still there. They're still getting recent feedback
on ebay and selling stuff. So I know Robin & his son are still
doing that. Just don't understand their position and the non-response.

After years of me doing business with them
and supporting their once great contribution to the 1/6 world,
I now turn away, broken, beaten and robbed of custom items
I can never get back. Things I needed for my business to make money.

It hurts me to say it; be careful, if you ever intend to deal with One Sixth Scale King.

Think and buy what you want. I'm just putting up "At your Own Risk"
if you're doing it via One Sixth Scale King.

For sure, don't send them any custom items for them to
work on. My mistake is trusting I would at least get them
back if they couldn't work on them(pretty much Robins exact statement).

But never did get anything back or even some kind of reason why or any attempt after....months...no.
make that years of contact attempts via every way possible except for jumping on a plane and
knocking on their door. A friend gave me their phone number, but
I don't feel me paying for a long distance call after years of emails
and PM would really make a difference at this point.

I do swear, to comment though, from now on , in every
One Sixth Scale King thread and tell my story. If it saves
one person from going through what I've gone through...then
I've at least did that.

Understand, I was just like you. Long time customer and
always got my stuff from them and was very happy.
But now, I turn my back to Robin and One Sixth Scale King.
They've lost, would should have been a life long customer.

Now, they've created a living editorial that is not in their favor.
To think, all they would have to do is respond to just one email
Emails I know someone read, because I got a read receipt on
lots of email attempts after the first 6 months.

And like I say in all my post, I welcome any response
from Robin and/or his son(who promised they were shipping
them back about a year ago).

Still...I wait. And still I will comment. That, at this point,
is the only thing for sure between me and One Sixth Scale King.

Hi there,

I recently placed an order for some Gotham PD badges on this site.
But so far the order still has the status pending.

I've sended a couple of emails but so far no replies.

Should I be worried?

I know this is an older thread, but all the news IKE-CON reported in this one, gets me kinda worried.

EDIT: just got an email, saying my order will ship this friday! YES!
