So is it screen accurate to have his belt so high up on his body? I never really noticed its placement before looking at you pics.

And of course, your 1:1 Yoda is amazing... this picture not only looks like a movie still, but also looks like Yoda is alive :rock

Thanks again.
Actually it moves around a bit and there were several types of puppets used so it varies.
Most of the time it is up high like that though.

.

I never realized how anatomically different PT Yoda is compared to OT Yoda. I must say, I like PT Yoda's proportions better. OT Yoda's arms would drag on the ground if allowed to hang down by his side.

Still, that Yoda is incredible. Like, incredible.

So after I left the seller on Amazon negative feedback, they sent me this in an e-mail and tried to blame Amazon!
My name is Shelly and I am the Manager here at Toynami USA.
I am sorry to read that you received your item where the box was in a damaged
condition.
Let me assure you that we NEVER ship damaged items to Amazon, because it would
damage our reputation.
We have over 2000 different items here, and some 100,000 items in total, and any
that are damaged we keep to sell on eBay.
Amazon is a high quality buying marketplace and we would never send sub-standard
items into that environment, even though others may.
I can only assume that the guys working at the Amazon warehouse somehow dropped
this piece before they packed and shipped it to you.
We take great pride in the quality of our items, and our products. We will only
sell our self-labeled items when shipping to Amazon to make sure that you get
one of 'our' items and not a 'co-mingled' item from another random Amazon
seller. This is to protect you from this kind of incident. However Amazon are
not perfect.
In this intance it seems they not only shipped you an identical correct item
(even though it clearly wasnt the one that we sent, since I inspected it
personally prior to shippig it to Amazon to make sure it was sealed and perfect)
but they also forgot to keep it in the original shipping carton.
Well this item was my own item, never opened, factory sealed, never displayed,
never touched, in its original box in its original shipping carton from
Sideshow.
Amazon clearly removed it from that box AFTER they got it from us, and then went
ahead and sent you a different Yoda statue to 'mine'.
I am so sorry they did that.
We take great care in shipping, especially expensive items like this, and even
more so when they are my personal items that i collected.
I am not trrying to pass blame at all, just letting you know what has happened
here.
Nevertheless I am truly sorry for your inconvenience and I offer my sincere
apology because it is quite rare that this happens. When it does, Amazon deny
responsibilty, they of course make no errors.........yeah, sure.
Amazon run machines and humans to pick and pack their orders, while we
hand-select only the best items to ship to Amazon. So even though we take great
care, they may not in all cases, as has happened here.
Of course if they mis-handle our products when it is in their hands
unfortunately there isnt much we can do about that.
I would ask you to consider removing the negative feedback from our account at
Amazon because this actually drops our seller ranking and means our products do
not sell as well as they should, and we didnt make an error. We have been
'puniched' as it were, even though we didnt do anything wrong. Amazon did this,
but unfortunately the comments you make aimed at them do not damage them, it
affects us.
We are genune people who care about our products, and our service, and indeed
our reputation and we will always work with people to make them more comfortable
when buying from us. I know you didnt know this before, and this is why I am
asking you to help us.
Any negative or neutral cases damages our credibility, of course Amazon do not
make efforts to help us or you, so we prefer to talk to you directly so that
there is a more personal level of care.
They are a multi billion dollar company and their business is funded by sellers
like us, whom they fulfil orders for. They do not have a feedback section for
their service, if they did it would be filled with all kinds of issues I am
sure. Instead they allow customers to leave feedback on our doorstep making it
look like we are to blame.
With that in mind, should you ever need another item from us, please accept a
15% discount that we will gladly apply to you as a direct payment to you. In
other words, if you spend $500 with us, you will receive a cash refund of $75,
while $1000 would mean $150.
I appreciate your time reading this mail and your assistance to help us provide
better products to Amazon buyers.
Have a wonderful day,

Sincerely,

Shelly Da

Soooo the Amazon warehouse just happened to have a SSC Yoda Life size bust laying around and sent me the damaged box version?
LOL!

Ok.. Im totally new to the boards here and I need your opinions. I am currently about to trade the following for this bust..

GG Busts
Boba Fett
Jango Fett #1 (snaped antenna)
Chrome Vader
Chrome C3P0
Chrome Stormtrooper
Chrome Jango

I really dont know as I cant find too many recently sold to compare. I think you fellas are more the ones to ask since you own it so... help a guy out with your opinions please..

Thanks!

Not sure of the value on the GG busts... but recenlty Yoda seems to be selling anywhere between $500 and $600.

There is one Sideshow Bust on ebay right now that is ending in 5 days. That will probably be your best gauge.

I would go for it Tweekem. I own the Yoda 1:1 and it's so much better and adds so much more presence that any GG Bust. As far as adding and necklace and a cane to it....if you are creative enough to pull it off (i'd say go for it). The bust looks nice as it is...

I think the necklace would be cool... but a cane would be difficult due to the placement of the 2nd hand nub.

Its not the presentation of busts over the Yoda 1:1... the busts come out to more than what retail is for Yoda... I really like fair trading and unfair is my enemy. i might be able to get Yoda on the cheap from a few comic store owners (like $300 cheap) I know.. Does the arm with the nub have any wiggle room or is it pretty solid??

Might be an issue gettin the cane in his hand then... there is always customizing tho... gonna get a neckalce for him fo sho. Just dont know what to do trade wise though. It works as far as coming out to what Yoda was retail... but seeing a few at under retail bugs me. Oh well... I have to make this decision by tomorrow morn.

Don't pay more than you have to... if you can get more for the GG busts sell them on eBay and use the money to buy the bust for less.

I pulled the trigger... BLAM... Yoda will be in my possession by next week. Now I gotta wait and get the necklace and cane. Hope I can get the cane to work... will be like having my very own SS 1:1 Yoda EX... found out that he had a plaque made for it too that he is tossing in.. not that the Yoda needs one.. but it will be a cool add. CRAP... now Im gonna have to get a MR Yoda Saber... I think battle damaged will be cooler than pristine too. Im a freak completionist.
