has anyone cast a replacement helmet for those of use that are lazy or scared to ruin a helmet????
Well, I posted this in the Customs section, but this looks like a better place to put it.
My goal here is an ESB Vader, as screen accurate as possible:
I painted the lenses, obviously. Painted the collar armor and shoulder pads, and added a new chain.
I used a Hasbro Darth Vader suit to make ESB/ROTJ accurate gloves. Not 100% satisfied, but I think they look good.
Here are the gloves on the figure:
The chest box is a recast of the Kaiyodo 1/6 Vader kit (nearly impossible to find!). I attached the Sideshow straps to the back and painted it.
Also note the ESB accurate lightsaber hilt.
Ben also repainted a Kenner Talking Darth Vader/Anakin Skywalker head just for fun. Here it is with the Kenner neck brace:
