Mine was as well, I was afraid I would break it having never had a DX before. But with a little more pressure I got it to move that first time, once that happened it got a lot easier.

I was worried when I messed with mine, but it works fine now.

I just quit trying, I didnt want to break it.

I understand, the only reason I pushed it is because I know in the future I might want to move it around and if I was going to break it then I wanted to break it in the return window. If I went to change him up in 3 months and it broke then, I would be SOL

I dont know why sum of u got a problem with the color of the coat. The figure is is made by the styling of the fourth movie " on stranger tides " and when u look at those 5 pics for ex. u see his coat is (dark)brown:

i finally got a chance to sit down and really look at Capt. Jack.... i'm floored...the attention to detail is amazing the tailoring, the paint apps the way the head interchanges, the trinkets, its all amazing here are some pics, sorry about the lighting my room is a bit on the dark side. between Supes and Capt. Jack its been an awesome couple of months!!!

The coat is not unique to OST, the material is same as every Pirates, and there is not a moment in any Pirates film where the coat looks like the colors HT has used for their coats.

All your photos prove my point, these aren't even close to that color.

The coat looks like a grey and brown colour to me so I think maulfans coat nails it.

Actually, the whole costume is different from the first movie to the sequels, since they didnt keep any of the costumes or props from the first movie. Everything of Captain Jacks costume had to be remade for the sequels. They talk about that in the making of features on Dead Mans Chest.
