Would be great if Sideshow and Legacy did something like Gentle Giant have done with florescent paint to recreate the bioluminescent bits.

Maybe just toned down a little, It's a bit excessive on their mini-bust.

Seen some nice video footage of the lovely Neytiri. Still hoping i like the Legacy version better although the price could push me this way as it is still such a damn nice piece.:duff

Yeah seen that as thats the same guys i saw the SS Neytiri vid through. The GG ones aren't too bad at all.

I know i've watched quite a few,they've pretty much got everything covered.....just don't know what he's saying....but the eye candy collectibles.:)

damn right. but those figures are awesome i'll give them that.

That's not paint they used to get that effect. I looked at them very carefully. What they did was drill tiny, shallow holes for every white dot so that the polystone material beneath the paint is exposed to the black light in the display box. White resins and especially polystone glow brightly like that in ultra violet light, much like a white t-shirt. There is no paint I know of that would glow bright blueish like that. Glow paint would most likely look green.

Thats a cool effect and seems like a pretty easy solution.
 
Yeah, Production Blog should be updating with official photos and info sometime today. I'm kinda glad that this is a smaller size so that it will be more affordable, yet it still looks great.
