Next EU SS 12" is Asajj Ventress

If I wanted a Porn Star figure I would have the Jenna Jameson ones.

Its not that I want a pornstar figure I want a Mara Jade 12". I dont care if it is sculpted after the actress they hired to play her or not.

As for Asajj, maybe this will be the start of a Clone Wars subset. Maybe release some other Clone Wars characters.

I would also really like Thrawn, Mara, and Dash Rendar would also be cool.

Hmm, interesting point. This now makes 2 EU characters... both from CLONE WARS.

What's wrong with Durge? He was a lot cooler in the comics than in the cartoon, but so was almost everyone else.

Actually, I much prefer the CLONE WARS Animated Series over the books and comics... and by a wide margin. In fact, the CW toons are one of the very few EU entities that I feel are worthy of being considered part of the canon of the movies (KOTOR and the Luceno books also fit this criteria).

I just detest the Durge character. Very contrived... and I'm not down with SW characters having boogeyman-like powers.

That said, watch Durge be the first armored figure that SSC releases.

Some people like to decorate or dress up to look pretty. The Civil War sigs are the forum version of wearing your geekiest t-shirt and being admired for it.

I was so tempted to use the Palpatine one.....

I know we'll be getting a realistic sculpt like Padme, but I hope they can retain the sinister look of the cartoon Asajj. If she ends up looking too pretty I don't think I'd be as interested.

Yeah! She should have a lip-curling snarl, and one eye kind of squinting. I'd love a good enraged female sculpt! That'd be really cool!

I bet this is the character they were talking about way back when the poll closed, when they said they were surprised at the results and that a character they had expected to do well did not. Sounds like Asajj was already in development, and that's why she's being made before the 3 more popular choices from the poll(Mara Jade, Kir Kanos, and Quinlan Vos all polled higher, IIRC).

I like the design of the character but Asajj Ventress has traditonally been kind of a pegwarmer in her other figure incarnations. You can still find her Hasbro 7" Unleashed on clearance a lot of places. She's kind of pseudo-popular, in that people vaguely like her but she was kind of rammed down our throats by a bunch of the licensed products. I think she'll do well as a 12" though because of her fairly unique design. Two lightsabers doesn't hurt, either.

I hope they make some Knights of the Old Republic figures, those games had cool designs. He was kind of a letdown in the actual game, but Darth Nihilus would make an awesome figure:

I always though Darth Nihulus looked like a total BAMF on the cover of KOTOR II. Hope they make him, here are the main sith characters for the Legacy Comic Book series. The twi'le chick looks like she would be interesting.

Now see, Nihulus I would consider getting. Same with the Sith Twi'lek chick. The other two in that picture though, no. Those I wouldn't be getting. For Asajj, I hope they do her with an agressive face because I really want to pose her fighting Anakin or Obi and I think with their less expressive faces it would be a nice contrast.

This is really a great idea, imo. I think she's a pretty neat looking character. But I REALLY hope the make Dooku first. She'd be a little pointless withput Dooku or even AOTC Clones Anakin.

I for one hope she has here red sabers that Dooku gave her, as well as the green and blue pair she had! Two heads would be sweet as well, if they could do it. One snarling and the other a little more pensive. Take note Sideshow!:chew

Asajj was easily my most wanted EU character. Now that title belongs to Darth Malak. He was such a classic Sith, all about me.
