I am the third from the right, standing in front of Alan Lee. I am thrilled by the friendly welcome of the members here. I should very much enjoy detailing the experience but please keep in mind I cannot divulge any kind of personal information regarding the other actors and extras who portrayed the Nine. I realise we are all on such different time schedules and hope to be in the Sideshow Freaks chat room at the appropriate times.

To answer a member's question here: I was indeed born and raised in Wellington...April 5,1948. I suspect that makes me a good deal older than the majority of the members here.:evil
Respect your elders, my young friends.

And I am certainly looking forward to being a participating member. Regretfully I do not have photographs of my collection but hope to change that. I will tell you a few of my favourite pieces include those you all love and know:
The Balrog and the Witchking bust, both of whom have special places in my collection.

To my curious friend WS: It would be unethical of me to reveal any names, the only comment I make is that the fan who wrote to me, mistaking me for the gentleman who did portray the Witchking human, was an exceptionally articulate and cultured individual who thought very highly of her fellow fans here. I could not recall the name of the man who played the WK but I do know he was also an extra in the Prancing Pony scenes as well as a Rohan extra. In the extended version of Two Towers, when Theodred was found dying on the riverbank, the man who called to Eomer ( Karl Urban) alerting him to Theodred's prescence was the same gentleman who portrayed human Witchking.

My presence there on the set as the third king from the right, directly in front of Alan Lee, was done as a favour.

Imagine that this brief, five-second scene took a half a day to film!

We were not allowed to keep anything as tokens from our brief portrayal in the Fellowship of the Ring, however, I can tell you that all nine rings are currently being shown in the Houston Lord of the Rings exhibit. All were similiar in style and design.

Welcome. :wilkommen

...and I know where you can find the member you're talking about if you're still looking for her. :wave

What's happened to the picture? All I can see is a little, empty square.

And what the hell is a Canuck? Is it the same as a pillock?

A Canuck refers to a Canadian.

I will be gone on assignment and will return in one week.

Here you are Larry!

You'll be (possibly) flattered to know that many here have wanted
a statue of you! We've asked for a diorama of the 9 kings of men
in the pose shown in the picture. Alas, twas not to be. :cry

Good to have you here Larry! LOTR Royalty you are! :bow :nazgul

Welcome Larry! :rock

Third from the right, gotcha!

Respect your elders, my young friends.
I'll do my best.:p

By the way Larry, saw the Nazgul part of that exhibit in Houston, Great Stuff!

*hops up and down with his Legolas statue* (not really though...)

I'm a happy camper!

I wonder what this assignment is that is being worked on.

I'd like to send you an email, Larry, though I'd send you a Private Message thorugh the messageboard, I guess that if you're away for a week and people are sending several messages, mine may get recycled out, since the inbox only contains around 6 messages unless you have an upgraded account.

I am entirely excited by this news, I wonder if any other actors who have been in movies connected to Sideshow's licenses may join the board.

I had a little time to get online, and thought you might be interested in my other work for TV and movies other than Lord of the Rings.
