In fact, it's not an update, the post is from 2008 !
but you're right I should make one, I'lll try to find some time this week end, because
I think there's nothing new from Sideshow (I've even sold a part of it) I was more into collecting props and costumes from movies.
It's weird this post resurrected now because I recently asked for a shipping inquiry to Sideshow, it was premonitory...

Very beautiful statue (sculpt,paint,fabric)

To do list:
Go in the woods and find a wooden base like this:

put the statue on it

and the frame behind.

I think this is coming to the end, all I will do know is decoration,framing... to make everything look better.
but I will continue to go here see your stuff...

Another thing in my list of things to do
that could give you some ideas:

photo albums

with pictures of the statue(or props) the movie it's taken from, the actors, a little explanation.
you can now easily make it online and it's affordable.

(you can add behind the scene from Sideshow or Stan Winston studios,whatever you want)
I think people who are not familiar with Sideshow will like it
when you show them your collection.

Another tip:

I'm often asked about dusting so here's my "technique":
this air compressor with a little pencil brush:

(with another end-piece of course)
it's handy,cheap,rechargeable battery,
(doesn't last long but doesn't take long to load)
it doesn't prevent completely you from a traditionnal cleaning with a woolen cloth from time to time but it makes it
way more tolerable.

(batteries doesn't work, cord is not included ,
not even the reference to buy it separetly)
