finally have found the pangaea boots for my arena figure aswell, and so i can enjoy it even more.

sadly, this figure isn't getting the love as it should be. i wonder why? it has such a presence in-hand, really really hard to capture it in pictures.

Totally agree.
And I doubt that Big Chief will beat it with their cloth quality and paint.

Finally gave in and order it as it was 20% at Urban Samurai Hobbies. Already had the Silver Helmet for a while. Like it better then the plastic one.

Just a heads up for anyone on the fence for a gladiator figure,
there is an official version coming from Big Chief Studios.
No info on the price yet, but its hs looks promising and better than existing versions.

I am trying to build another Gladiator figure using some spare pieces from my dlx version,
another ACI Andrew body and a custom hs.







I have collected all missing bits & pieces except two things:
1) Neck peg. Very narrow. Whatever peg I used from my stash could not fit inside the neck.
2) Feet with ankle balls. Again whatever ankle balls I used, the Andrew body has too narrow sockets.
Any info where I can find the above?

Well being in a big Gladiator mood at the moment, I decided to go ahead and pick up this (very underrated) figure. One thing that was bothering me though was how overly bronzed and rusted the helmet, armor and shield were all looking compared to the more silvery look they have in the movie. So I went and touched everything up with a bit of silver rub and buff to make the figure pop a bit more.

I also tried using that custom Jor-el head above, but unfortunately it ended up looking a lot older and puffier in-hand than I was expecting from the pics, so I'll probably just leave it under the helmet instead.

I've just received the deluxe version, and at the right elbow joint it looks like a small piece was broken . I am wondering if anyone had similar problem? What do you think, can I move the arm regardless of it? Thanks in advance!
