I'm leaning towards photoshop, so many things look corrected on the head, I can't image with the Japan toy show and Comic Con that they've gotten around to redoing the head already.

Okay, that makes more sense now. For a second I was confused as to how the chap's mouth is closed in one pic and open in the others. The way you posted the images made them look like they were the same display.

The teeth are closer and the 2nd thumb is there, but I'm skeptical until HT makes an official announcement with pics.

And why have they never shown the extended tongue?

Those are impressively fast changes. The lighting looks very good if that's PS. Can't imagine that they could do this and alter their entire run of figures that fast though. If it looks like this for real now, I won't cancel my preorder.
