NECA 1/4 scale predator

All of the current figures are variations on 2 figures. At least if you get the city hunter, masked or unmasked, you have the central Predator from the second movie - the guardian was just a background character at the end of the film. The armour is the same but is a darker bronze colour, and the spear extends.

The Elder is one of my favourite Predator figures, yes it's the same as the original Predator figure but the armour is a much darker color, the head has a few different features like the broken tusk and ring, the cod piece is a little smaller, and with the sword, pistol, and bag, overall it's different enough to stand out.

Out of the 8 NECA Predators I have I wouldn't let go of the masked city hunter or Elder, I don't think you'd be unhappy with either of them. If you really don't want more than one of each current body type then sell the Guardian, with hindsight I wouldn't have bought Guardian or Ram.

As to the other posts showing off the new jungle hunter, hopefully mine will arrive next week; the company I pre-ordered with hasn't got stock yet

Thx for you post. After reading this i think i will buy the City Hunter Helmet as the next. His copper Helmet is realy nice one.
All what i needed is more place to display them. My 2 Rooms arent the biggest.
I dont want to spend more then 130 $ for one Figure. I was Happy as i get the Classic Pred for this Prize. Most of them cost about 230 . Thats crazy.

The Guardian was my first 1/4 Scale Figure. I usually wanted an opponent for my 12" McFarlane Alien. As i get the Predator out of the package i realised that he is so tall and massive. I was really impressed. The MCF Alien was so tiny against this guy. So i orderes the 22" big Chap. Now im addicted to 1/4 Scale Figures

Thx a lot, its more impressive when you stand before it. I made it of natural wood and some artificial plants wich is usually for terrarium used
Im happy to bought the original predator , cause the other wouldnt stand so nice in this jungle scenario. I think i have to make some bloody trophys, like skulls and bones, a complete skinned corpse would be nice, but a little disturbing to. If i had the predator 2 CH i would took it on an ultrasonic fogger with spaceship background.

Looks awesome so far. You might consider adding some greens, browns, and bronze to the armor.

Reinhardt, did you ever get to making a visual tutorial for the 1/4 Jungle Hunter de-assemble and re-netting? Still looking forward to it, mate. I'm sure others do too. If you decide to do it, please make its own dedicated thread - that way it won't be lost in the 1200+ page jungle that is this thread.

So this is a question to those who have both. Should I get the 1/4 scale big chap? Or the city hunter? I dont have the funds to get both, but i would like to get one of them

Big chap is a work of art.
Its more than movie history.
I bought him and until then had zero aliens or predator figures nor the desire to collect them.
But that figure pulled me in.

Realized I posted my last Predator post in the wrong thread. Anyhow, here's what I did on the helmet. Tried to match this to several different helmets pics I had so accuracy in the paint job is off. Plan on doing the rest of the armor tonight. LOVE this figure!
