Does anyone know of an online retailer on the East Coast who has this for pre-order? Not many carry Neca items and even the ones I found to have some Neca stuff doesn't have this.

At my local Forbidden Planet they open up their Hot Toys figures and pose them! And they charge over the odds for them too. All that money for a high end figure that's already opened and has been handled and posed...No thanks!

Surely just their own display examples...if not thats ___king ridiculous!

When I was after Dutch FB had him on display. I asked them do they have an unopened one in the back and they said it was just the one on display. I was so desperate to find Dutch and when I did find him I refused to pay £190 for the displayed one.

Wow...unbelievable...thats really unacceptable in my book.

It is. Especially for the prices they charge.

Why would anyone want to buy from a physical store anyway? You can find most new stuff online at retail price, no tax, free shipping, and untouched by a bunch of people.

The "thing" is called credit card. A Real bunch of people dont have them, I didnt have one up until last year. and Im 28 years old (no credit card porno site for me... but still now there is so much free porn out there... i dont think anyone needs it for porn).

I live in México and I had to deposite the guy or girl who sold the figures (because belieave it or not, its like "virtual" physicla stores, since they touch them, they charge you shipiing and taxes, and are pretty much touch by anyone in the process). so I recommend you to stop thinking everyone is like you.

Talkin' about pegwarmers....

Online shopping and brick and mortar stores are so different. Internet is the place for the specialized buyer and seller. Real stores are a thing of hit and miss... that is why I have been able to buy very rare Hot Toys like the Elder 2 or the Pred 1 for their release price when they were like hotcakes selling at $500-400 on ebay.

You just need to know were's your market. And regarding 18" Predator figs with a run of just 5000 each (heck some LOTR Sideshow Weta figures 3 times more expensive had larger runs) will sells quick on the net.Not so much on comic or toy stores for sure.

I bought HT P2 Elder in a toy store for release price ($144.99). At the same time people were paying for it 1000$ and more on ebay. Unbelievable!

They still have the closed mouth and masked versions left.

That's why I love ACTUAL stores. Things can usually be found for cheaper than normal...

Alas, many of us (myself included) dont have this luxury. We are forced to not only buy blindly based on web info/photos, but have pay shipping and/or ebay them.

Only time I get to actually SEE a product is when I'm on vacation in another state, and even then I have to arrange for shipping it back!

You can also pay with a bank account. If you don't have that either, many stores accept money orders too.
