Looks like NECA is taking so long to get Hulk out because they are trying to make the pants perfect. It will be worth the wait!

NECA: 1/4 The Avengers

So it looks like NECA is doing a Mark 42 Iron Man. Not surprised, considering its basically just a repaint of the Mark 43. The removable mask and Tony Stark face is the big selling point on this guy, but at the expense of light up eyes. I'll probably wait for a sale as I'm not a big fan of the colour scheme and I'm not an Iron Man fanatic.

The likeness to RDJ is also shaping up to be much better than last time...

Funny story:

I ordered the Mk 43 earlier this morning and I thought, "Watch. NECA's gonna reveal a new armor soon."

Then I see the Mk 42 today and I'm like, "Damn it." XD Truth be told, I prefer the 43's color scheme vs the 42's.

Got the Mk 43 today and holy crap, he's amazing.....aside from the right back flap breaking. Oh well. I'm displaying him from the front anyhow! XD

When he just arrived.

Massive improvement to the shorts since last time. He's been long overdue now I'm just ready to get him.

I can imagine if that thing takes a shelf dive though, the whole floor will probably cave in.

His knees are a bit bent for one. If he was any bigger he would also cost too much $$$ and he would take up way too much space.

Huge hulk fan and I hate to be critical but I'm not feeling this hulk
His torso looks too long and his legs look to short, might just be an illusion from how he is posed
His pants seem to be pulled up too high
The torso joint is an eye sore imo, not sure if I'm going to get it at this point
Really need to see it in hand

MK42 red colors are more darker than MK43 or just lighting?

Hulk looks incredble, the way he's posed throws off the proportions.

That's actually a great leg pose they got out of him.

His legs are far apart and he towers over IM!

There's a lot I like about Hulk, but there are aspects which make me glad I was able to get the Hot Toys deluxe set for about the same price as the NECA. The final paint is a bit disappointing, the prototype looked like it had a good mix of tones throughout his body and now it seems that's all kept to his inner hands and toes, and in some shots it looks almost Hasbro level. I see an amazing and enormous Hulk, but I don't see $200+ worth of quality on the final piece. I hope to see someone get it and do a top notch paint job on him and see how it turns out.

Interesting that they gave him the red eyes of the Hulkbuster fight.

When it comes to Hulk the size is my priority, especially since Hulk is the easiest character to custom paint which honestly he might not even need.

His size conquers any and all issues that he may have.

Besides, his head is spectacular.
