Action Figure NECA 1/4 Affleck BVS BATMAN

Going to try the neca / jakks combo myself.

How did people get the head off? I'm guessing the body can't be heated up enough that it goes soft enough to cut with a blade?

Any help or tips would be really appreciated! Cheers
