I wasn't happy with the contrast of the colours so went back and tried to blend things a little and make it look a bit more subtle

Did some weathering in the door surround to match it a little more to the reference pics

​

I will still tweak it a bit more after I finish the base but I'm happier with the overall look now

Base is all done and this is pretty much finished. I still want to add some coloured buttons to the door control panel but I'm going to be away from my bench for a little while as I'm under orders from my wife to get a big job done on one of the room in the house. As soon as that's done I'll be back down in the Pete cave and will sort out the buttons.

Here's some pics of how it's looking. The first one is down in my cave and the rest are taken in natural light to hopefully give a better indication of how it looks in hand.
