Ridley Scott's still on track to direct this movie, which he'd said will have a futuristic sheen and be vaguely science fictional. But now Hasbro's Brian Goldner says the movie will also somehow deal with how the game came to exist, and somehow mine the game's 75 years of existence for stories. The real history and the fictional history will blend together somehow, allowing the movie to tell the stories of families over a brief period of time. Confusing! [via MTV]
