Affleck isn't the problem, but Batman in a Superman world is. It barely works in the comics/cartoons, but it sounds ridiculous in live action. What would Batman have done with General Zod as an enemy? I'm really hoping Batman doesn't appear in more than a cameo role in the next Superman film. Even better, make a Bruce Wayne appearance and that's it.

:goodpost::exactly:

We are on exactly the same page. Couldn't agree more.

Christian Bale could've come back as Bats and I'm still not feeling it. Never liked Brave & the Bold and I'm pretty sure that a live-action film of it isn't sweetening the deal.

It's very hard for me to reserve judgment right now but I guess we'll see what happens.:slap

Are you a stickler for licensed stuffs? If not, theres plenty of cheap customs ones on ebay, and i believe kai is offering some.

These ones comes with a "DC comics" stamped at the back of the cowl.

Who is Kai? I'm new to all of this. I'd like to get the original but am open to a 3rd party if the quality is similar or better.

I signed the petition. They must of had some reason to go away from Bale. I wonder how much money he wants for the role. This is a great opportunity to bring two characters together with actors who are established in their respective roles.

I am majority disappointed with this decision.

i don't care if the poll has no impact. it's gratifying to know there are so many people in the world who agree that this is a bad decision. that's enough for me.

eh, affleck wouldn't be my first choice but who knows, maybe he'll surprise us. we're probably being a tad hard on him, he has come a long ways from those daredevil days. honestly when i first heard michael keaton would be batman back in the day, i was like "wtf". now obviously it was a great choice. so who knows.

I agree 100%. I hope they change their minds and certainly hope Hot Toys doesn't release a Affleck Batman. I may have to sign that petition also.

I just think the backlash is because Bale just finished up a very successful series. If this was 5-10 years from now maybe most people would have been open to the idea of a change.

oh it's out there. i refuse to post it, but the memes are all over.

including the cowl on an "affleck" duck.

using another freaks pic to ask my life-altering question
is the part in white supposed to go under the part in blue?
thank you in advance to those who answer

no: the picture shows exactly where/how far the pieces can go. push them any further and you will probably break them.

there should be that much of a gap between the two as the top part of the goggles (where you've scribbled white) should rest on her head.

again, look at the straight line (the dashes, which appear at an angle in the image). that alignment is what you want on your goggles.

it just looks like everyones goggles go further than mine
I don't know why my link just doesn't just show the picture here

others may be pushing their goggles farther, but i wouldn't recommend it. they look fine at this angle (and actually that's the extent that mine would go so as not to put pressure on the supports).

so yes, there's a little extra room to pivot a tiny bit farther back, but you don't want to stress the braces ~ and visually it actually doesn't look much different in-hand.
