It was from this site: https://www.7toys7.com

I can't see it on there anymore though, I bought mine in January. They have it in black and light grey, but not the khaki/ tan version. eBay has only the black and grey too.
This site has khaki on back order: https://www.gijoeelite.com/f_itemPart.asp?strPart=GIWT-02C

They're made by "Wild Toys", you wanna hunt one down.

Sweet.
Thanks for that.
The first place you linked to do have one. But the price is a little high...

I still need to add a cool backdrop, but here's my Superman the Movie themed shelf.

Here's how the top shelves of my Detofs shape up.

That looks beautiful!
HT should make a Superman 2 Zod.

I would definitely get one if they did!

Booshman, where did you obtain the hat being used for your Kent figure?

From Taobao, it's a huge Chinese shopping site. I had to heat it with a hair dryer to add the bends an folds for the right look, the original was a bit flat.

Kal El Reviews: Hot Toys MMS152 Superman

Video Review of Hot Toys MMS152 Superman.

[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8dckpsgsEes&feature=c4-overview&list=UUROf_lOxJO7P6ta0oxNwf9Q[/ame]

For me, the figure is perfect. Christopher Reeve as Superman in the superman movie series was awe inspiring as a child and still is as an adult. I must have watched Superman 1+2 hundreds of times over the past 20 years and still enjoy every minute, in fact I'm writing this review as I was Superman 2 - The Richard Donner cut.

So that brings me to Hot Toys. Their perfect recreation of Superman, played by the late Christopher Reeve. The likeness of this sculpt and tailoring is impeccable, even the boots look amazing. From ever angle this figure is undoubtedly Christopher Reeve as Superman. A true masterpiece living up to the lines name.

Now enough of the gushing for now, the figure has very few issues. But they can be quite annoying. The suit is very accurate, that being said the stretchy type of material is very prone to 'runs' and any stray threads should be carefully trimmed and not pulled. Also on my copy of the figure the head comes off very easily as the ball joint is loose. This is 50/50 with this figure. The only other 'issue' is that without the use of a hair dryer to soften the materials the fortress of solitude stand can be quite difficult to assemble.

The Box for the figure is a great display piece and is fairly large, inside of it are the standard clam shell containers. The accessory count is fairly low, which is fine. He comes with two additional sets of fully sculpted and painted hands, a standard hot toys black base with name plate and movie logo and The diorama Fortress of Solitude base which looks fantastic and doubles as a flight stand.

Articulation is great, double jointed knees and elbows. The body is a muscular body with the rubber neck, the neck and upper torso are well painted to match the hands and head sculpt. That being said you should be careful when moving the head not to scrape the paint off the neck. The cape is also somewhat pose-able as it has a small wire throughout it's edge. It is quite emotive but gravity can make it difficult for some positions.

Overall whether a superman fan or not, the figure is clearly one of Hot Toys finest and in my opinion a must have of any Superman fan. It also looks great next to the newly released 'Evil Superman' figure from Superman 3 (Reviewing soon).

If you have the opportunity to pick it up, I can't recommend it more

Enjoy the review and photos.

I dedicate this review to Christopher Reeve. A Childhood Hero.

Really nice looking clark.
Do you have a parts list?
Especially like the oversized glasses, spot on;)

Thanks! The bag and hat I have no idea who makes them, they were from Taobao. The shirt was just a plain white that I dyed. The suit is TC-62010-D by Toys City. The tie I made, and the specs are a pair I found in a store that I chopped up, stuck back together and painted. I'm waiting on a more accurate pair from Astro_zombie.

Hi guys, just sharing on CR Superman! I just love this underestimated figure: the HS is perfect, the costume is accurate, the box is an art and the diorama is smart. But 1 thing I think is missing on this figure, instead of Evil, they should try BD:

Sorry guys very late to the party but anyone know where I can buy Superman besides eBay? I'm after a brand new in sealed box. Is $300 a reasonable price or are the going for more?

I've no idea for the US, but I'm living in Guangzhou, China, and for $300 you could get 2 and have change left. I think you must be able to get it cheaper somewhere.

Is this figure that cheap in China? Sideshow has the evil version for $215 plus about $40 shipping to Australia and that will set me back close to $300 Australian dollars.

Oh, I thought you meant US dollars. Well even so, it's about the same. I got my Evil Supes delivered for $157 AUD/ $142 US.

Are you saying regular or evil?

Are you saying regular or evil?

Regular. I found a local seller. All is good. I had the evil version ordered on sideshow but couldn't go through with it so I cancelled. I want the original to go with the Keaton Batman. They look so good together.
