Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

Wish I could be a bit more dishonest sometimes, the other day I said " I don't think I would ever cheat on you".:slap

The answer she was looking for was " I would never cheat on you my sweetness":love
Haha that took a lot of digging to get out of that hole.

My answer is usually "I'd cheat you on in a heartbeat if you messed with me..."
:rotfl

I was talking to a 12 year old girl today who thought 99 red balloons was a new song...
I told her it came out in the early 80's and she didn't believe me till she looked it up on Wikipedia.
Now THAT made me feel old.

Lol. It's like a few years ago, someone killed Laura Branigan's Self Control by doing a dance version. I was singing along and my mates daughter said..., "how do you know the words to this? It's brand new!"

When I told her it was out in '84 and that Laura Branigan died in 2005, she called me a liar!! Lol

Thanks a lot.
I appreciate your kind words!
All i did was open the stand up, drill holes for a 10-LED R/C lighting system, cut a hole in the bottom of the base for the battery, another for the switch and seal it all back up.
I've posted pics of it lit up before in this thread, but here they are again for all who would like to see them:

Re: Hot Toys - MMS152 - Superman: 1/6th scale Superman Collectible Figure

I might give it a bash. Where did you get the parts from?

The switch came from a cannibalised strip light, and the R/C light system came from Ebay years back.
Here's a link:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4x-All-C...s_RadioControlled_JN&var=&hash=item3cd057d931
Now that is NOT what you need. You'll need either a 5-piece 10mm LED system in white or a 10-piece 5mm LED system in white.
Just contact that seller, tell them what you need and they will make you up a custom lighting harness(You will need NO MORE than 80mm of cable with each LED, as any more will just take up valuable room in there).
I used three similar lighting systems for a custom Warhammer Arvus Lighter dropship i made for a customer in the US a year or so back. One 10-LED superbright white system for the headlamps, dashboard displays and interior roof lights, one 6-piece strobing system for the nav lights(Flashing red top and bottom, and strobing white on the trailing edges of the wings, plus fixed red/green nav markers on the leading wing edges), and finally a set of 10 LED lights in the engines.
LED systems are easy to work with and run on low power. Perfect for our uses.
I scratchbuilt this entire thing in 1/20 scale from sheet styrene and model kit greeblies:

Most of that was Greek to me! Lol.

I'm sure there's a step by step tutorial somewhere.
