I want to get a new camera in the nearish future. I have a Rebel XSi which works well enough. I use a 50mm lens for most things which takes nice clear photos. I want to get a 70D though as it allows for a lot more options particularly for low lighting. You can take at ISO up to 12800 where as mine can only do up to 1600. You also get a lot less noise at the higher ISOs.

I would then suggest getting a Powershot maybe, I had one for years and it served me well enough.

Although I'm not keen on dropping $490 up front for something which may take a year to arrive, when I got my Rex from SSC shipping alone was over $100, and I think Ray may be larger so might cost more, therefore I want to order from Bamba to save costs.

Yeah the free shipping from Bambaland is not to be scoffed at. It's often a massive savings given how much large stuff they sell.
