The one who took the photos that can be seen by clicking the second link is a really nice guy. Took another photo of Snake's headsculpt upon being asked by me if it was possible for him to do so.
He also told me that the Snake figure actually is a prototype and not the final product.

Cheers again Elvis, i especially like MGS1 and 2 Snakes. I was worried how MGS2 Snakes suit would look in 1/12 but its very awesome.

While i still don't think the face looks like Snake (lipstick much?) the fig is still very badass. Heres to hoping MGS2 Snakes face is better

Ah yes, ebay... great place. ;-) I managed to buy The Art of Metal Gear Solid 2 from a US seller there 2 days ago.
A steal at 40 Dollars. Now my MGS Artbook Collection is finally complete, with the exception of the Peace Walker one which I don't need.

But be aware that the Snake figure is a prototype and not the final product.
Judging from the most recent photos I'll most likely get both Snake and Gray Fox from Play Arts, although I'm still a bit skeptical...

Wow, that is a good price for the MGS 2 Art Book! The only one I have in my collection is the Peace Walker one, and I hope to pick up the others in the near future.

The Play Arts figures are great, but I don't plan on picking them up soon. I'll most likely have to sell a few things on Ebay to acquire some additional funding .

Just gotta be patient. ;-) Half a year ago one sold for 30 Dollars on ebay.com... Needless to say that I missed that opportunity.
My favorite is the first one for MGS1. The Peace Walker Artbook is nice, too but it doesn't feature much of Shinkawa's art work and has more renders and CG, instead which is not so much what I'm looking for. Plus Peace Walker wasn't really my favorite game in the series. ;-)

The last Snake's photos showed in the last days is the final product (not prototype)

I own Gray fox, and believe me, IT'S GREAT, therefore I'm not skeptical about Snake
