Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I'm going to have to try something like that. Thanks.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

The 5 o'clock shadow is what I like in most of Lee's artork and specially in all-star Batman. No time to shave :)

Ah, I see! Strangely enough, other than the Miller TPB's and Grant's Arkham Asylum, I haven't read a single Batman comic book in decades!

Now with a new belt.

I'm thinking of buying this with the whole intention of trying to copy his.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

I kind of wonder what it would look like if this head (repainted to match) were placed on the Play Imaginative Batman.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Now we're talking-This is how this figure should have looked all along. No one would have thought twice about shelling out big bucks for these looks. This has certainly got my attention!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Yup I removed the velcro, that thing was really a stupid idea :)
Without leaving any residue or tearing the suit? If you did. Mind telling me how? I want to do the same :D

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Recently got the medi Jim Lee Batman for a good price.

I hated it right out the box.
Waist was too skinny and legs too skinny and long making the silohette really odd to me.

Only parts i kept from the medi body is the upper chest and arms.
From the lower torso to the legs I used a HT TTM19.

I resculpted the thigh and calves and tried to get closer to the Jim Lee drawings.

Still debating wether or not I should go with grey and blue or black and grey.

Cape is from Tony Mei got this one a while back think it was his old pattern.

Here's a first wip pics.

WOW!!!! I love it. I call dibs on buying it! If you decide to sell let me know!

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Anyone know where I can pick one of these up for a decent price in Europe/UK?

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

No residue since it isn't glued, it is sewn and I removed them using a sharp scalpel.

Finished Jim Lee BATMAN

Looks FANTASTIC!!!!

One question: when did Jim Lee do Batman in the black and grey? In both Hush and All-Star Batman it was blue. Is there one that I'm forgetting?

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

Just went from cheap toy to realistic badass JL Bats.

Re: Medicom Jim Lee RAH Batman and Joker Hush set

That image has me thinking the same thing. Elvis should just write up a tutorial for us!

That would really help.I found one for $150. Getting another HT TTM19 body for the legs. And since I've never sculpted anything in my life THAT should be interesting. :rotfl:rotfl
