Medicom and SSC Side by Side... ??

Hey guys just wanted to know if anyone or if several of you could post picks of Like figures from medicom and ssc side by side to compare the height and size difference, I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to see, I've looked around and couldnt find any good thread on the matter, just want a place for anyone to look and see anyways thanks everyone for the help in advance

I have a couple medicom figures, I'll take a picture. I believe this size comparison is pretty much representative of most medicom.

You can see that the medicom storm trooper is shorter as well as thinner all around and less bulky.

sorry if this is an old thing lol, I just recently with in the last year have heard of anything other than Hasbro 12" but I used the search thingy and with the results so broad i came up with zilch, anyways reason why I was wondering is I got a pretty good deal on a medicom Clone trooper Yellow Phase 1, and was wondering if it was THAT far off from the SSC's which I have come to love and if i may gone totaly overboard with coming in at 33 SSC figures in the last 6 months and with 10 more on the way so anyways i blabber on alot, but thanks again guys if anyone has CLone troopers to show me I'd much like that too haha.

They are almost exactly the same size. The yellow one is obviously the Medi, and the white one is a SS Phase I with his arms posed to match the Medi's.

The Medicom clones are lacking in articulation due to their tight vinyl armor over their spindly bodies, in combination with the fabric suit... The Medicom clones can't put their arms further down than what you see in the pic (although the SS clones can)

If the Medi Commander is cheaper than $90, then by all means, he's worth it! They can be displayed nicely with SS clones, but because of poseability issues, I wouldn't say they're worth more than a Sideshow trooper. You can get the plain white SSC Phase I's on eBay for around original price BIN...

Personally I enjoy displaying my Medi commander giving orders to my 3 white SS troopers, he really looks great if posed right. (I usually try to make his arms look intentionally raised, so he doesn't look so awkward... works well with pointing and gesturing and stuff.)

Pretty much nailed it The Dude, thanks everyone for the great shots wonder why hes so close in size but the sandtrooper and darth are so way off (well sandtrooper is close enough ), anyways thanks alot guys keep the comarisons coming for further references later

I actually took those shots a while back to answer another Medi-SSC size comparison question. My camera is pretty much permanently dead now, so it's really lucky I still had those on my Photobucket!

while i have never had the "major" issues of the height of medicom as i think their offerings are pretty cool...............the height is undeniably shorter........but i loves some boba fett........

pic: medicom fett, marmit fett, ssc sandy.............wtf is that lil' guy to the very left...............

btw:.........if you notice in the pic.........i lined the fig's heels to the same base line & tried to get them to stand as tall as i could. so the marmit & ssc st actually stand just a wee bit taller due to having to spread them a lil' bit.
i know......: age old arguement but just giving the noob........a visual reference..............(please dont stone me.......)

Medi on the left , Sideshow on the right .
I think there's no problem displaying Medicom and Sideshow Troopers side by side, as long as you have variation in the poses .

I'd like to see a 501st clone medicom next to a sideshow 501st to see the difference in detail. I'm torn as to which one I should get to go behind my medicom Anakin which is an awesome figure.

The Medicom ESB Fett looks great when put on a slim taller body to scale with the Marmit one.
The Marmit Fett though is still really cool and Btw the Bright yellow was a release version from Marmit as to was an orange.

As Dorg say`s though the new ROTJ Fett looks amazing and is indeed taller (now just to have the cash to pony up for one).

I picked up one of the Medicom Phase 1 and the Shock Trooper last year I think. This was before I was aware of the differences. I actually prefer the SS version over the Medicom, especially when it comes to customizing. Now if I can figure out who to sucker..err I mean talk into trading for my medicoms.

I must say the detail on the SS is superior not to mention the articulation. I'm still partial to my medicoms though. Inane a phase 1 and it's taller than boba and jango. I'll stick with the medicom because of the size. One thing I did notice about the SS was the arms seem a little long to me when posed at his sides but look great otherwise.
