Looks pretty good I think. I actually got a lot more of the body coated today, the body itself should be coated completely in a few days I think. Then I have to do detail work..add the small ridge along the spine, things like that. I'm goign to start coating the head tonight I hope.

Not life-size, my HOA wouldn't approve, but does anyone know where I can find a museum-quality skeleton of a T. rex in the neighborhood of six to eight feet in length?

Something similar to this:

This is a six-foot-long animatronic T. rex that walks in place. It's part of the traveling exhibition, "Dinosaurs: Ancient Fossils, New Discoveries."

I'm not looking for an animatronic figure, just something similar in size.

The ability to adjust the mount would be a plus, as I'd like the pose to be more dynamic.

I really like this Black Hills Institute STAN mount:

very nice model, blade. At this time it looks a little bit like a protoceratops.:clap

Not lifesize(maybe we should change the thread name to Dinosaur Collectibles), but here is my 1/6 scale Stan bust I bought at Wonderfest. It was built up by Martin Garratt. He also built a base, that allows me to display the bust on a flat surface.

I didn't know this thread existed! There is definitely some great stuff in here! Love the collections everyone! :clap

Finally listed it.
Kinda listed it high, but as I don't mind keeping it, and more just testing the waters I'm fine if it does not sell. I have had my eye out for another for years, and have not come across another, so I have nothing to gauge it off of.

Hey guys, I thought anyone on this thread would be interested in my latest piece of university work. We had to create a skeleton using reductive sculpting/ carving, so I had to create a Tyrannosaurus Rex. I made him in 1/20 scale, so is roughty 2 foot long.
Hope you enjoy it
