Couple of things:

Witch King Battle- So awesome. We know based on a past set Beorn will be most likely be making an appearance at Dol Guldur (perhaps to fend off orcs and wargs while Galadriel and Elrond battle supernatural foes) and with this set we know the Witch King (and hopefully the other Nazgul) will also appear in BOTFA. I like!

Attack on Lake Town- Bard is shooting the Wind Lance while Tauriel is battling orcs. Is it possible some orcs remained after Legolas went in pursuit of Bolg, and Tauriel goes to battle with them while Bard tries to take down Smaug?

Very cool sets! Every time I see new merchandise I get more and more excited for the final installment of this trilogy!

Was it that much different?

Yeah, it was more curved rather than straight vertical spikes. I remember this clearly since my flash went off in the theater as I was trying to take a video of the scene in AUJ to analyze it.

The Bard that comes in this set is the same as the SDCC Exclusive!
So for those you were unlucky with the exclusive get the Bard that was available
